Looks like a LaRue Covert Rifle Case. http://www.larue.com/covert-rifle-case-mkII Correct--LaRue MkII. Love that case. I've used it for that KAC, my SBR (barely fits fully assembled), and an AMD-65. It' modular, rugged, and doesn't stand out as being a gun bag. |

On my personal carbine it is more forward, but this one can be used either by myself or my wife. As such she can't hold the carbine and operate the light with it forward. At this position either of us can use the magazine well as a VFG and activate the light with our thumb. At the in home distances we have, the shadow really isn't an issue for target ID. |

And you have the irons all ready to go if your scope went tits up or is too much magnification. Although admittedly, I think I'd do what you said with that scope. Curious to see what he has to say. I personally have always liked a higher mount than standard. Most other guns don't have your face as jammed down on the stock as an AR does, to see down the sights. |

After trying a few different stocks, I've come to the conclusion an M4 stock is the most practical and comfortable stock to use for anything other than bench shooting. If a precision gun, then give me an A1. I will probably never build a clone or have the money too, but dang I sure like those CQBR's. |
