Rent never buy......... you don't have to pay for the maintenance and it's easier to upgrade to a newer model.
RIO-lover is on a constant quest for premium trim. :D |
After waiting 5 months, I finally ordered my Christmas present upper in May. After another 5 weeks they finally shipped my upper. I finally get to put the gun together Then I get to finally start ordering upgrades.
Thinking I'm gonna go Nickle Boron BCG and maybe a BCM CH, and a Primary Arms reddot (maybe with a magnifier) and depending on the distance from the end of the muzzle brake threads to the quad rail, I may go with a Fer Frans CRD. Ergo original grip, and I may eventually get the SB PDW if I can't get used to the KAK brace. 27.0 OAL if anyone was wondering. Attached File |

Question for those who know more. I was really hoping the threads on my barrel would be closer to the quad rail, but from what it looks like it's gonna leave a gap there with the muzzle device I wanted. I can take a better picture, but is the highlighted part also removable or is that some kind of anti rotation nut.

I think a 3/4 wrench also fits, or one around that size.
