Do any of you regret painting your rifle?
I'm just afraid I'll miss being able to change things up stock set wise if its all krylon'd.....
I found it to be a very liberating experience actually and may also paint both my 5.45 krink and my SLR105.
The main reason I haven't yet done them in multicam or some other effective scheme is that I really have no
practical need to get camo'd out. My military brain tells me to do it for the effectiveness should I ever need it, my civilian side knows that if the SHTF camo isn't going to matter realistically, and in no way do I have any serious mission requirement for it because I'm not deployed, not a contractor and don't do anything other than range time and a few carbine classes . I might do it anyway just for fun but am not in a hurry to do so.
As far as regrets, I have none. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and feel good that I got over a subconcious hump about not painting a black rifle. Its hard to explain but for me there was a sense of freedom that came with painting the Krink and
