Whew! Thank God it wasn't a SK, or a long slide, or a .45 or else I may have had to spend more money

I didn't realize their financial situation until someone mentioned it. It doesn't look good. I'd buy one sooner rather than later.

But at retail of $819 I would have to pass. Some people... |

They have changed the mag release levers. Hopefully eliminate the sore finger you get from extended shooting sessions.

Hmmm. Mag rel. never bothered me. The top straight portion of the trigger is what bites me after a while.

would want if it had a PVD FDE slide or something of the likes.

Several on here have complained of the same. HK supposedly had a fix for it. Mag non-availability at the time and that was the reason I sold mine. |

It looks very nice and I'll have a VP9 in the ranks later on. Sadly, there are other HK's ahead of it that I want first with the USP9T being next on the list. However, if they make an OD version of the VP9, well that's a game changer for me.

View Quote HK will be fine and I really wouldn't worry about it or let it hinder me from buying an HK. Their government really stuck it to them on their exporting to countries they felt were in threat of conflict including Saudi Arabia. That financial hit was a big one for them but now HK is making a big focus on the US civilian market which is great for us! |

Looks nice, I may eventually end up with one.
What I really want is the VP9C. Come on HK... |

The various handgun forums are, by definition, tech forums. If you find one that strikes you as a "circle jerk" then don't click/post/comment/etc. and cruise on in peace. If you wish to continue to post on this site, you will not post in tech as you would in GD. This goes for everyone here, not just you. IM inbound. |

That's nice…but where the hell is the VP45?
SERIOUSLY! A bastardized over priced SP89 and an FDE VP9. meh. |

Saw some at the NRA convention. The FDE they used seemed a little off-color under the lighting there, like it had more green in it or something. Couldn't get a picture to show the color right. It has tempered my desire to buy one a little bit, but I'm still thinking about it.
