I have been searching for a long time for something like this, but never found anything.  The closest I came was the K2 rifle from a few people who sold RAS systems for them, but never for the K1.  I visited my son for Thanksgiving, and he knew I have been wanting one; for Christmas he was able to get two of these things for me! These are super-rare and I have only seen demo ones by others from various military pictures.  Check out the pictures I have linked:

The mounting was super easy, it went on without any issues.  It is very secure.  Shooting it with just the irons actually felt better than the factory grips that are provided.  I think it looks cool as well. :)

Anyhow, I ended up buying an EoTech 512 and mounted it on there.  The groupings are tight for me, and I couldn't be more pleased with the overall setup!  Let me know what you think...

To be honest I could not exactly tell you.  My son got them for me.  He worked a bunch of his contacts to find them and get it to me before I left Kansas City.  If a few people were interested, I can pass you his information or talk to him and get back to you?  ... But I'm not sure if I want to!!! It is kind of cool having the only one!

That won't fit a K1, I inquired multiple times.  It will only fit a DR200, DR300 & K2. I saw a post there where they want $2500 up-front for tooling to make one for a K1.

Thanks for the link though!

I can assure you that the rail system for your K1A1 is very "gray market."  South Korea has some very strict export laws on guns and gun parts these days, they won't even export spare parts, which is one of the big reasons we can't get Daewoo rifles over here anymore (from what a source in the know tells me).

The Woo's were banned from import in 89 thanks to Bush Sr. I believe, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The linked rail will NOT fit the K1A1. I have looked for a rail system for them, parts are VERY hard to find, especially for the K1A1.

Also I know that the owner of the site that was linked has been kicked off of several forums. I got a link I put to that site taken down by the site mods. I've purchased a couple parts for my rifle from them and though expensive the experience was your typical successful purchase. No dillo-dust, or anything else extra, just the part delivered on time and as advertised. But I would check with the mods to see if that company is still 'banned' or what ever they are.

Was it KKF? Didn't he die recently? Some sort of accident?

That's the first I've heard of this, I thought they had simply given up on the US market.

First Bush Sr bans them by name, Daewoo retools it's logo stampings to get around that, but eats the guns already mede with the banned name.
Then the AR ban, Daewoo does an even more massive and expensive retooling to eliminate the pistol grip and other evil features.
Finally Billy boy bans them by name again.

I wouldn't bother trying to sell anything here again either.

I want one a those K1 rail systems so bad.  How much and when?

K1 is a great shooter, but no way for optics since the DR200 and other mounts will not work.

Will I be breaking only Korean law? Just tell them its for the airsoft that I may get some day.  That is how all that AR15 bling is exported from Taiwan.

Arizona Expert Arms may be able to hook you guys up, I know they list DR200s on the sight but since they do custom work I would at least give them a call.

This post appears to be nothing more than skillful advertising.  Related posts on other boards by this same person mention an upcoming auction.

I sure was excited.  However, I will sit out of the auction and not be stirred into a frenzy.
