Hopefully I'll get to edit this post in the future with my own MG. |

WEeelll, guess I should jump in here.
I have a wide variety of full autos from several countries. Been collecting them since I got my first MP 40 in about 1953. While I prefer WW 2 German I have a lot of others, mostly WW 2. Here are my heavies. Well I guess not. It seems that I can't find a way to do so on this board. Wierd set up here!!! Sarge |

Here are my MP 40s - bottom 4 are all tube guns, 3 built on matching nr'd parts kits and new tube numbered to the parts. The top 5 are - top down: MP 38, MP 40s dated 1940, 41, 42 & 43. Still looking for a 44 & 45 to have all years for the 40. Next pic is my MP 43, 44 & Stg 44 guns and spare parts. Sarge Attached File Attached File |

Added both current and circa-1941 Pittsburgh PD shoulder patches off of eBay, and Frank I-can't-remember-his-last-name-either's wonderful Reising book. plus the FOIA letter. It was a 97-98% firearm in every way. A very, very, very good friend of mine, to whom I owned much, fell in love with it in 2006. He knew what I had in it, but he had to have it. He asked what I would take. In my mind I added up what I had in it, doubled it so he wouldn't buy it, and said, "$8,500." He pulled out his checkbook. I really, really didn't want to sell it. But he really, really, really wanted it that much, and since I had named a price and he met it, I let it go. He died a couple years later, but I know it was one of his most beloved possessions. Last I heard it was with a new owner in Md. I still miss it ... but if selling it to my buddy fulfilled a lifelong dream, I'm OK with that. |

Unfired Reising Model 50 with original box and accessories. According to the serial number it was built in 1957, the last year Harrington & Richardson manufactured these. H&R still had some Reisings in inventory when they went bankrupt and I suspect this gun was part of the liquidation when H&R's assets were sold off.

Normally I'm not impressed by the reising but that is a pristine looking MG. Don't think I could ever bring my self to shoot it
