I have a file set up for the reloading forum, but the book keeping is out of hand and any new photo sets I add will be in a separate folder for each thread or article. The advantage of the Reloading file is that it's shared so many people can get access.
At one time, an outside server was more reliable than the old AR15.com server, but the new one has been working okay since the switch. The problem is, every time there has been a major upgrade in the past, our stuff got moved around causing photos to be lost. I had to rebuild everything in the Resources after the last move from the General section, and I'm not sure I caught all of them.
Right now I'm afraid to edit anything in the Content server as the files get corrupted. That is the reason for the tacked thread with tutorials, and I have a couple of files out there with new information that y'all can't see because they are also corrupted and I haven't had any luck with getting help about sorting out the problem.
As for the stability of outside photo hosts, I can't say. I haven't checked my Photobucket account for at least a year.
