Quoted:Thanks gentlemen. My threads don't get the frenzied popularity of Dryflash 3's "Bling Thread" and Biggdawg's "Annealer Thread" but that's OK. (I took advantage of those threads too!) My target audience is quite a bit smaller.
The hard part with RCBS Pro 2000 or APS centered threads, is that my target audience isn't as active on the gun forums as I am! (I think they're out shooting or reloading....they can do that when they're not having to fix problems with their presses.) I really like it here and have learned a lot. So when I can...I try to return the favor. The tricky part with posting "Green" threads, is posting when a goodly number of "Greens" are lurking.
Thanks to AeroE's vision, we have a spot on the forum that's tacked, where Pro 2000, and other Green users (and blue and red users too) can always check out to see what they've missed. This is unprecedented on the gun forums, I'm pretty sure. People ought to take the time to go through all the tacked threads....they WILL learn many worthwhile things they can use.....I did.
The issues dealt with in this thread are really quite trivial, and many Pro 2000 and other APS users aren't slowed down much....and not at all if you have a 2 year supply of CCI pre-loaded APS strip primers! I should have such a supply....but I'm cheap and didn't get it done....even tho I knew this demand/supply mess was coming. But I wasn't too worried....my non-APS supply is fairly large and tho older than 4 years ago...still perfectly strippable, reloadable, and shootable.
BTW, even though the RCBS section is my post, I can write LINKS to other Green Threads other than mine. So if there are RCBS threads that have been "toggled" I would like to add links to them as well as mine. I just need to be made aware of them....hit on the head...what ever it takes.
You may not be posting about the most popular progressive press brand, but you help many folks that do have them.
