5. Secure the spring! This is important if you don't want your hands scratched, pinched or pierced by the spring. Use plastic tie-up, or just a piece of wire like a kitchen trash bag tie-up wire, but make sure those ends won't get off the wings!

6. Now it is time to remove a Wire Pin, that holds hammer pin and trigger pin in place. You should see it on the bottom of the receiver, below FCG, on the left side. You should see how it wraps around a grove on a hammer pin, and goes under the grove in the trigger pin.

First step here is to pry it off the hammer pin. Use screwdriver to push forward the upper open end of it. After you have done it , it will look like this:

Click On Image For Closer Look on the bottom of the receiver, and either pull it out forward, or pry it from under the trigger pin grove with a screwdriver like this:
