Yeah DSA also needs to start putting flash hiders, bayo lugs and folders on their SA58 line. I for one like their products, but I'm paying $1500 just to have retrofit it to a "no-ban". Lets see: $2200 for an ORF FNC... personal loan, at 6%, about $40 a month for 5 years, yep need to get working on the wife now... |
So... It will accept an M16 release? Also, Is the one mag the complete rifle comes with an original FN mag, or just an AR mag? |
Is ORF going to start making and selling FNC's on a regular basis, or are there only going to be a limited number sold?
That is a good question. I would like to know as well.

Which barrels do these rifles have? The 1:12 or the 1:7 twist?
Actually, my question was about the bolt release. Sorry about that, should have made it more clear. |
762x51,
Please confirm or deny you have received my reservation for a sear-ready Para model. Thank you. Sammy |
I don't think anyone reads this anymore. Might be a better idea to email him.
Sammy, I have no way to cross reference your order. Send me an email and then I'll be able to tell you if I have received your order. Orin |

Guys,
I still read it when I get a chance. The BHO is a modified AR15 BHO. Uses same hardware, pin, spring, detent. Todd@ORF |
Kick ass. Looks nice. Going to make some like that, or did you just get bored? hing
Guys,
Yeah we will run some with the pictos, they will be alittle more for the extra paint/letter filling work, not too much though $30 or so. On the sear. Yes the BHO is right there, we use about 1/2 the pin length. I will get a pic of that and post it. Todd@ORF |

The buy was supposed to close on the 19th, but I've yet to receive an invoice, and the site doesn't say closed. Change of plans?
I left it open because of the Holidays. I hope to get ordering info sent out this week to those in the group buy. Orin |

Seeing as it's getting closer to January, is there any chance you could provide us with a more accurate guess as to when the rifles will be ready?
I'll check with Todd at ORF tomorrow to see if I can get a firm date for you guys. I'm going to leave the buy open for now and close it 2 weeks before the guns will be ready. That will give everyone time to get their funds in so the FNC's can ship as soon as they are ready. Regards, Orin |

Ya see guys...
I told you that I would get in touch with Todd tomorrow...... Orin |
Ahh man, just pretty good? I thought it looked awesome! I only wiped the one down to get the haze off (sealer or whatever it is)
Todd@ORF |
Someone pointed out to me that the bullets are facing the wrong way on the pictogram receiver. Not sure if you were going for an exact look or just something similar, but I thought I'd let you know.
Not to sound like a 5 year old in the back seat of a car on a long road trip, but are we there yet?
what we need is a update on the parts kits to complete the rifles.
Can we get a update? I have the feeling that some buyers are maybe looking elsewhere for semi auto hosts due to the wait. Not me, i am in till end. |

You know something, I am not going to argue it. I would rather perfected work that is delivered late, than slop delivered on time.

Guys,
Update on the FNC project. Lowers are instock and were gonna start shipping them here real soon, gotta box up etc. That has nothing to do with 761x51s GB that is ORF presold FNC rec sales, but we could probably fill receiver orders on the GB too! There are still lowers being cut now, were gonna produce about 250-300, were at about 150 or so now. 250 guns ORF will be assembling. The parts kits have NOT arrived yet and it is aggrivating but we have to wait alittle longer. I pressed for a firm del date from my vendor and really did not get anything but I guess date. Sorry but thats the best info I have right now. On the bright side, it WILL happen, just keep that in mind! Todd@ORF |

Todd: can you calm our anticipation nerves with some more info or better yet some pics of a sear ready model lower?
questions: the sear ready lowers, will they be totatally re-finished in the area of where you will make the sear cuts or drilled pin hole OR will those areas be shiny unfinished metal? Will the sear ready rifles come with everything a person needs to just pop in their sear or will we have to supply anything ourselves? will the sear ready guns include the burst hardware? are the part kits in the US, still outside the US, stuck in customs? |
I know some of this!
They're cut, then the finish is applied. Whole receiver is finished. No shine.
Comes with everything you need. Just pop the sear in.
No. |

Hey ORF..
You seem like smart people, you have the machines and tools, why cant you make a US made upper to go with your lower, Cant you adapt something using AR-15 barrels and various parts? People would kill to have their sear capable of firing in 6.8 or 9mm. why wait on those imports, adapt and overcome I say. |
When I submitted my order I did so stating that I would pick the rifle up at ORF. Is it possible to have the gun shipped to an FFL closer to me, instead?
A rifle with a lower that took AK-47 mags and had a bolt/barrel set up in 7.62x39 would be pretty cool too.
its mid feburary now. update please on status/sending payments/shipping. thanks. |
