Yeah DSA also needs to start putting flash hiders, bayo lugs and folders on their SA58 line. I for one like their products, but I'm paying $1500 just to have retrofit it to a "no-ban". Lets see: $2200 for an ORF FNC... personal loan, at 6%, about $40 a month for 5 years, yep need to get working on the wife now... |

Guys,
Yes were gona be using a std AR15/M16 mag release in them. The raised fence around the button does not allow (well its a real mo fo) for a FNC pin style button. We will only be doing these as a limited series gun. There will be about 250 rifles assembled. Last I talked with Orin the GB was getting close to being full. Here is the receivers we are working on now. We should have all the receivers made and ready by the time the GB closes. So when kits arrive assembly will begin. Guys that bought lowers already about 2 weeks yet for del, you will have it by Christmas. Lowers can still be bought now, stripped $300ea. Heres a new pic.  Happy Thanksgiving! Todd@ORF |

Guys,
I had to throw some Hk thought into this FNC project. Made for quite a programming task for Rod today, but in the end I think it was well worth it. What do you guys think?   Thats right pictogram RFN receivers! Gonna be a upgrade by far, cause it was a task to fill the pictos in! Todd@ORF |

Yeah we will run some with the pictos, they will be alittle more for the extra paint/letter filling work, not too much though $30 or so. On the sear. Yes the BHO is right there, we use about 1/2 the pin length. I will get a pic of that and post it. Todd@ORF |

I'll check with Todd at ORF tomorrow to see if I can get a firm date for you guys. I'm going to leave the buy open for now and close it 2 weeks before the guns will be ready. That will give everyone time to get their funds in so the FNC's can ship as soon as they are ready. Regards, Orin |

Guys,
Update on the FNC project. Lowers are instock and were gonna start shipping them here real soon, gotta box up etc. That has nothing to do with 761x51s GB that is ORF presold FNC rec sales, but we could probably fill receiver orders on the GB too! There are still lowers being cut now, were gonna produce about 250-300, were at about 150 or so now. 250 guns ORF will be assembling. The parts kits have NOT arrived yet and it is aggrivating but we have to wait alittle longer. I pressed for a firm del date from my vendor and really did not get anything but I guess date. Sorry but thats the best info I have right now. On the bright side, it WILL happen, just keep that in mind! Todd@ORF |

Todd: can you calm our anticipation nerves with some more info or better yet some pics of a sear ready model lower?
questions: the sear ready lowers, will they be totatally re-finished in the area of where you will make the sear cuts or drilled pin hole OR will those areas be shiny unfinished metal? Will the sear ready rifles come with everything a person needs to just pop in their sear or will we have to supply anything ourselves? will the sear ready guns include the burst hardware? are the part kits in the US, still outside the US, stuck in customs? |

They're cut, then the finish is applied. Whole receiver is finished. No shine.

Hey ORF..
You seem like smart people, you have the machines and tools, why cant you make a US made upper to go with your lower, Cant you adapt something using AR-15 barrels and various parts? People would kill to have their sear capable of firing in 6.8 or 9mm. why wait on those imports, adapt and overcome I say. |
