wow you guys have some awesome rifles!! you've totally convinced me to get an M4gery this fall/winter...now another decision...A2 or A3?

i'll probably go with the A2...i've been wanting to try out some A2 sights...last A2 i shot was a few years ago before i knew anything about AR15's and while the *ducks and whispers* AWB *ducks and whispers* was still in effect...

cause after the Aimpoint, mount, flip up sight, etc. it'll cost around $1107...i havent decided yet...i kinda like the looks of flat top M4gerys with 14.5" barrels, phantom, and an Aimpoint on one of those those mounts that slant forward...i dunno yet...

Slanted mounts.... you mean the cantilever? The one that pushes the optic forward of the upper?

Lancelot thats a real sweet heart there. Yes its a light weight. All RRA except has a Colt factory 14.5 .625 pencil barrel with a perm KKF A3FS. It has a matching Colt bolt and carrier. Other goodies are a Vltor, H2 buffer, M2 Aimpoint with LaRue Cant mount and a Arms 40A2 rear flip.

Of all my rifles I like this one the most. Its so light you could throw it across the yard. I can hump all day with that bad boy.

Here's a better pic.... I have since switched out the club foot for a carbine stock and gone to a Cant mount so my 3X mag will fit.

mfinger, what model is your Aimpoint M2 or a ML2? I can't decide to go with ML2 or a M2  Aimpoint on my all LMT M4. I love your set up on your LMT M4.

there was a thread on which Aimpoint to get...it depends on if you want night vision...if you want it or need it for the military/law enforcement, get the M2...if you're a civvie and dont plan on using NV, get the ML2 and use the $40 you'll save one something else such as mags or ammo...unless you can find an M2 for the same price as an ML2....
