Why do you have a rear BUIS on a rifle that does not have a front sight?

LOL...I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that.  I just needed a place to store the BUIS, that seemed like as good a place as any.  I certainly won't lose it there!  I'd like to put a flip-up front site on that rifle, but have to ditch the standard handguards in favor of a rail system first.  I haven't seen a way to mount a front-site on it in its' current configuration.

It's Billet. The billet run is kinda like a "Special Edition" and later on they will do Forged.

458 Socom, upper by Teppo Jutsu
14.5" bead blasted Pac Nor barrel, perm vortex
DD 12" tube
DPMS lower
EOTech 553 sight
Various magpul, tango down, and Larue Tactical parts.

I got my hands on the upper Tuesday morning and all I have to say is that it was worth every penny spent and every moment of leadtime. It's a dream to shoot and for the first time since I can remember I am absolutely ecstatic over buying something.
I can't recommend Marty enough.

John

PS: Better Photos/documentary evidence of fruit/obsolete computer equipment carnage shortly.
I might even need to shoot up an old Sun Workstation or all in one Mac with this thing ;)

Yes but it's the uber awesome magpul lower with their logo on it and we all know that that logo makes all the bad guys shake in their boots and makes the gun you build on it 300,000,000,000 times more accurate with bullets that will go around corners and kill people!
