Just curious, does anyone have the diameter measurements for a standard 16in HBAR?  Denny, will this be significantly lighter?

Regarding weight, i've got two different weight estimates for a 16in HBAR from this site.  One is 2.3 lb, the other is 2.7.  i assume the difference is a question of what's included-- FSB, etc.  But compared to the 2.5 lb estimate for Denny's barrel, we seem to be in a similar ballpark.  Or?

Thanks!  GH

I believe my RRA stainless middy was .98" under the HGs before I had it turned.  I think BM HBARs are in the .9" neighborhood.   This should be lighter than factory HBAR midlengths like RRA, but I'm not sure it would be lighter than a HBAR with the shorter HGs.

Standard Bushmadster Hbar: .980", then a step down .850" for about 3 inches before the FSB.

Sent a couple e-mails with questions.  Not deal breakers, just some side questions about the barrel/options, about some of your other products as well.  Just wondering if you got them.

Thanks,

I would say 30 days out or so.

+1

I noticed you said there were some shipping rates that were gonna effect the prices.  Do you have a "worst case scenario" price?

I would take two if I could get one in a super lt. wt. profile...

I have a LaRue .625 gas block waiting on a project...

Regardless... this configuration by this barrel maker and the smitty you are using

still sounds like a hot ticket...

I have to ask, I notice the price on the website is $325 for the barrel.  Is that just entered at the max amount possible so we can reserve barrels, or is that the final price?  I imagine so, but was just checking.

Mine's reserved!

Gundraw

Thanks for all the interest and now we can proceed to get the line going.

SHould we reserve a barrel though the webstore for complete builds as well?  Re: our telephone conversation, 14 June,   I switched my upper build order from the stainless Recon barrel to this one.
I need to call you about someting else ( emails are bouncing) Are you in teh shop at all this weekend or not until Tuesday?

Thanks,
Dennis

Judging by the number of people who want the front sight base left off (and no marring holes drilled through the barrel), one would hope    this would be an option.

But the die is cast...
