LWRC is on the way...

Purchased it factory direct at 1435 hours.

Ships tomorrow.

Which model and how much?

14.5 w/ Phantom all railed upper.....

I tested one out at my departments range on an M16 lower. The whole staff shot the shit out of it.

Accurate and 100% reliable (as are my standard M4s) and I figured.. why not

It should be arriving any day.. I'll post pics

Hmm, I highly doubt he will reveal his source because us civilians are NOT supposed to have the H&K in our possession.  Even H&K openly admits that they DO NOT want anyone besides military and law enforcement to possess their 416 weapons!  With that said, one of my buddies is trying to get me to become a reserve officer.  After hearing his horror stories, I don't think I want to do that.

ETA:  Nevermind he is a dealer.

There from the extremely small amount that have slipped through the lines and are in the hands of those who had the change at the time and were Johnny on the spot with it.

I still wouldn't want one over another POF though. They've got more common AR parts, cost less and do everything I could want and very well too.

Liar! You'd pimp you sister for one! Thats a joke, dude!
Really, there is no equal to the HK 416, but the POF system is damn head to head with it.
You can't beat the POF lubeless coatings.
The HK 416 just uses a sl-8/g36 gas system. IMHO, the HK short stroke system is better because of the gas ejection and piston system.

Anyone who sez different is a anti-hk snob(if there is such a thing).

The HK system is THE BEST piston system for the AR-15, in both semi a and full auto.

Sorry POF, but for my money YOU ARE THE ONE. That doesn't mean shit, but if the HK416 system was the same price as POF, I'd go with HK, but since it aint, I am looking for a POF upper.

AR-18 gas system you mean. You dont actually think HK is capable of innovating on their own do you?

I was planning to get an LWRC M6A2 to compliment my Bushmaster piston, but I just couldn't pass up this deal on grunbroker.com, should be called makemebroker.com.  The POF Predator upper was $1000 with Troy back-up sights, same price I paid for my "plain Jane" Bushmaster.

I want to play too. Here comes my POF upper with 11.5 inch barrel, Colt M4 lower and all other goodies. I have well over 2600 rounds thru it. Not even 1 hiccup so far. It has been great. I have only been using S&B ammo and some Lake City.http://imgcash6.imageshack.us/img235/6430/dsc01986wv2.jpg

What sling you got on it?

Thank you guys for a good word. I have been using a single point sling. This sling is designed to fit HK MP5 / HK94, HK53, HK91 / G3, & HK 93 type weapons. Obviously, it fits very well M4 type. I like the sling hook. It comes on and off very quickly and provides a very stable way of attachment.http://imgcash3.imageshack.us/img235/8799/dsc01977wb9.jpg

Nice job LWRC, those 7.62's are purty.

So a mix of an AR and FAL make a FAR right?

Just out of curiosity, have you tested with the elevation adjustment on that MATECH BUIS?  Will it work the same way with 7.62 as it will with 5.56?

Sorry, just had to ask, I know very few people actually use the elevation adjustment on their MATECH's, but the same can be said about stock A2 sights.  I would think that the elevation adjustment would be meaningless, however, on a 7.65.

Still, they look good!  Never was impressed by the HK416, but interested in the CQB version of the 417, looks like you're going to give them a *very* good run!

Direct Impingement
It still uses gas to operate. It has a long gas tube ala carrier key that if I remeber correctly has a recoil spring over it. This replaces the buffer and spring so you can use a foldig stock. Not a bad weapon but not a piston driven one either.
