I got mine for $900 TA31 NIB
Don't mean to brag but I found a TA31 earlier this year for $875.
I scored my TA31 a couple weeks ago from GDS off Gunbroker for $849 NIB. Awsome addition to the AR.
Folks at GDS were great to deal with, met Gerald last weekend at the Houston gun show and will probably purchase my next upper from them. RM |
Are you required to be a "Team Member" to get in on this deal? If so, is the online membership application the best way to go, or is mailing in the check still the most expedient procedure?
I don't think so, but you should contribute anyway. I paid with a credit card via paypal and had my membership upgraded very quickly. (Faster than the check would have reached its destination had I paid that way). |
I saw you replied and I got excited, may be some more new information |
This is definitely tempting. Any idea if quantities are going to be limited?
Yes, quantities are going to be limited. I havent asked if I can release the amount, so I wont say now. Before getting the go ahead, I will say that it isnt a tiny amount, but I strongly suspect they will sell out.
So if they're limited in number, how's it going to be determined who gets dibs on them? First-come first-served?
Nothing gets reseved... to my knowledge, this will be first come first serve. If that changes, I'll inform everyone. But that is my understanding.

Hi guys (and gals), I'm new here and thought I'd provide this link to a company that's slightly higher but still a pretty good deal for those thay may not make the group buy. This is a reputable company that mainly deals with Law Enforcement and Govt contracts. I don't know if they have a supply problem. I prefer the chevron anyway
Botach Tactical TA31 for $889 |
BTW, that's kind of impolite. |
your first post and you are starting off with this??? Reputable? Yeah, they have a "reputation", but i don't think it is what you think it is. |
I'm sure that they have none in stock. Or do they? I ordered from Botach over the phone, and received a Surefire light in two days. However some here here, have had problems with their internet orders. I hope they fixed whatever was wrong. Welcome to the forum, Eric |
Its a great price, but Botach is back ordered like everybody else. They do not have them in stock. |

new-arguy ... a question
I reread the posts, but must have missed it. I know the comment was donut or chevron. Will that decision be made at the last minute by or Trijicon pending the order size? I have a donut TA-11, but would like the chevron, to have one of each (The donut is great). When it gets down to putting up the $, will it be too late for a vote, or is that a mute point. Interested in either. Thanks for all your efforts in this. edited for my terrible typing... |
From the very first post....

Cerebus is right, this is for a TA31 donut reticle callibrated for a 14.5" flat top. Still no model number...
I STILL can't wait for when these TA31's arrive, and have actually bought a 14.5" AR JUST to fit this TA31 when they arrive! I had to sell a couple other toys to fund the project, but it will be worth it. Just another excuse to buy another AR... I know I'm hooked...
people keep talking about some 12 step program ?? ... |
I'm in too.
Where does Trijicon state that the TA31F is for a 14.5 inch barrel? I've read where Trijicon states that the TA01NSN is for the 16" barrrel (I assume they mean 14.5" since it was designed for the M4), but I can't find that info on the TA31F. |
From all the info that new-arguy has provided us, this scope will not be a TA31F. It is a new model that has yet to be given a designation, and the bullet drop will be calibrated for a 14.5" barrel.
I understand that this is a brand new scope that will have a donut reticle and doesn't have a designation yet.
Sorry, after re-reading my post I realize I could have been more clear. I'm still curious where that info about the TA31F comes from though. |
That information comes straight from Trijicon. New-arguy is dealing directly with them so basically, if he posted it consider it straight from the source |
I'm still in the process of looking for funds, is this going to work on an 18" upper. I checked the BDC chart it's mostly calculated for 14.5 to 16" if it works on 20" I sure hope it works on an 18" correct? Thanks
Good god, people sound like spontaneous combustion would occur if they put their ACOG on a weapon it's not specifically calibrated for. |
Gee, I got my panties in a bunch. I thought it was for a TA31-F red chevron... Oh well, I don't have that much to spend... I'm getting my 16" RRA / ARMS #50 soon. I guess it would not matter what model it was, I don't have $1800.oo for the rifle and the optic. I don't want to put the cart before the horse.
Well, Trijicon's sight doesn't say it, but the TA31F is calibrated for the 14.5" barrel with a 62g bullet. I gave up searching and called their customer service line. Knowing this, it looks like the new scope that we're waiting on is identical to the TA31F except it has the donut reticle instead of the chevron. |
You know, after all this time I never thought to describe it like that. But you are exactly right!! |
I knew it, but it didn't occur to me to post it. Beings that it does have the TA31F BDC, it works for about every bullet/barrel combination on a flat-top. I have never checked it on a carry handle. |

I'm in for 1, any more info Nov 04's coming quick. would go good on an HK upper
I am 99% sure I'm in for one. I just wish it had an amber chevron (or donut) (I am slightly red/green colorblind).
