Wonder if the charging handle could hit that topstrap when fully collapsed.

Nope because the 'top strap' is so far back.

The are excellent!  I don't like cords and pressure switches or anything else in the process that can fail....

I just backed out of the on line ordering.

The price total and shipping is shown in Euros not U.S. Dollars.  The 9.40 shipping charge is not indicated in dollars.  I am not comfortable as I do not know the current exchange rate, nor am I confident that the rate will be the same in a few weeks when the items are in stock.  I think I will wait and see how you that already placed orders do... and order via telephone then if all seems OK.

Sounds great, however I just tried ordering one and got to the end where you pick the shipment - I elected UPS ground to Alaska, (thinking this will be the cheapest way to ship) Check this out - A WHOPPING $31.09 TO SHIP!!!!!!! WHOLLY CRAP!!!!! For a $20.00 item! They must be high!
USPS can ship a 1 lbs item Priority for about $6-$7? Talk about feeling a little screwed without a reach around! I guess I'll have my dad get one for me and ship it to me for a whole lot less -

No such thing as UPS Ground from the lower 48 states to Alaska. That high figure was for UPS Air.

I am interested and love breaking things...

Good news is they have the White and Red in stock...

Shipping to IN was going to be $9.10 as well...

Don't use the lin kposted to go direct . It takes you to some Euro website . There is a US website that shows $9.10 shipping to CONUS , but of course way up here we get fucked .
Let me se if I can find the right site for you .
ETA Here . Try this one . www.tdi-arms.com/store.php?region=usa&pid=284

I called to ask about the cheek rest.  I was told that they are out of stock but will have them in next week.

If you order from their sister website there is FREE SHIPPING.

You can find it at www.commandarms.com/ where they have free USPS shipping on all items.

ETA: Uh.. I don't work for them or anything, just though I'd pass it along to my fellow cheap-skates.

They don't drive UPS trucks on the AlCon highway. It might be delivered to your town by truck but it comes into Alaska via aircraft. Lessor priority(three day vs two) means less money charged to you.

It looks like it was made to clear a CH on a fully retracted stock- the reason there is only a saddle on the rearmost portion.

Love mine . Got it trhough grant here in a package deal . The only thing I don't like is the spin tail cap for constant on . It got activated in the case once and killed a set of fresh batts . Fixing that soon , with a tail cap swap .
