I used the Optimus 9 universal suppressor on a pistol (Walther PPQ competition) with the ez-lock and noticed that it would come loose relatively easily. I believe I suffered a baffel strike during that one use and stopped using it thereafter. There's a small amount of damage to one baffle. The end cap doesn't even look like there's any damage.
However, I noticed that there were a lot of jacket shavings in the ar-15 FH mount when I removed the suppressor. In addition, there were uneven holes in the target. Does anyone know how to get the baffle replaced? |

Use their contact button on the website. I’m having a Cam Lok issue and they responded fairly quickly initially and subsequent replies were faster.

If only they had a consumer website...with a "contact" page...that would be cool. But, I guess there is no way to find out if they have such a thing..

I've looked all over their website and I didnt find anything. Griffin has obviously made it completely impossible to contact them at all. You may be screwed OP. Sorry for the loss of you can.

The path is nav bar contact> customer service > firearm / suppressor warranty. <That is the RMA page. The EZ lok requires some torque to function, that's in the vicinity of 2.5 ft lbs approximately, which is about as tight as the average person can tighten a can with one hand on the can and one hand on a pistol. 40 inch lbs or so. When running a new suppressor/mount combination, checking early until acclimated to the system promotes trouble free use. The shavings problem on an Ar15 could be ammo related it would be hard to tell. In 5.56mm the 9mm bore should have a lot of clearance, but the AR can be many other calibers too. The piston/fixed barrel spacer is not a good combo for ar-15's in 5.56mm as the piston isn't ideally strong as a mount for 5.56mm- I saw a piston in the office the other day that had the front side sheared off from running it on a 5.56mm AR reportedly with a fixed barrel spacer. |

Have you used an alignment rod to check concentricity of your suppressor and barrels?
