The Multi-Language Instruction Manual is what sold me on this contraption.

but it was like $50 cheaper than the Zojirushi Neuro "Fuzzy-Logic" one. |
I want one too.
For real, You know how I always say for that price the thing better cook me breakfast. Well that shit does!!!, I want one, and sticky rice can be hard to make w/out a decent cooker. oh and you crazy! |
You're crazy but it's your right to be that way.
I like to buy high quality things for myself, often better than I really "need". |
um, ok.
1 cup rice 2 cups water salt to taste. Put water rice and salt into covered dish and cook in microwave on high for 10 minutes. |
I think this belongs in that thread about laughing at ricers.
Hey, the Neuro-Fuzzy rocks! I have one. Perfect rice every time. There are all sorts of dishes you can cook in one. Make sure you try some brown rice. It's better tasting and better for you. If you like it, you can get 20 lb bags at a neighborhood Oriental market for one fourth the cost of the grocery store.

Brace yourself, folks....
My sister is buying her husband an espresso machine for Christmas. $2000. Yes, friends: TWO THOUAND dollars for a fucking COFFEE machine! You know how much ammo I could buy for that? |
That's pretty sweet. A rice cooker is the only good / easy way to get decent rice at home.
You posted a link to one of those things in a thread months ago where I was asking about cooking rice ... I've been eyeballing them ever since and planned on getting one as a Christmas gift to myself in december.
How cool will it be to set it up in the morning and have the rice just finish cooking as I walk in the door after work? |
That's one BAD ASS rice cooker there bro....what brand of rice do you plan on cooking in it?
I'm partial to the Kohoho Rose (or something like that....anyway, it's sticky rice that the local supermarkets used to carry). |
I'm pretty stoked. I'd been dragging my feet on a new Zojirushi for months now - I didn't even know Panasonic(National) and Sanyo made the things. There's more than one neuro/fuzzy logic rice cooker on the block now. I am going to buy 20 lb bags of EVERYTHING! This thing will be paying for itself within a year (how's that for denial?)! |
Dude, it's a 'Tactical' Rice cooker!
Cool. (that said, my $15 one works just fine...) |
more than I'd spend on a rice cooker, but I won't rip on the rice cooker concept in general
I used to. used to be like "it's not hard to cook rice in a pot" then I broke down and bought one. it is a lot more convienent |
That's a PARA FAL! everything I see is related to weapons and ammo costs....is that wrong? |
EXACTLY. When I was a child, I thought single shot .22's were freaking COOL, and now, I've got 3 magazine fed, semi-automaic .223 rifles known as AR's. |
That would be a serious bargin... |
Mmmm - rice cooker. How does a Toyota taste? (Oops wrong thread)
Saeco? |
didn't read word one on your post.....
Unless it comes with a Geisha.....you're crazy. |
As the first and only white guy I know with a rice cooker, I approve your purchase whole heartly.
Yes you still are crazy but its better to be crazy with a bitchen rice cooker than without one |
Rice cookers rock...my mom made fun of mine untill I bought her one. It, like mine, is an el-cheapo, but she now swears by it.
Brown rice vs white rice... which is better on zombies wearing marpat?
You're crazy, for $107 it better shoot the venison and grow the peppers to mix together with it Wait... shooting the venison is the fun part. I'm so confused now
I can no longer afford nice hookers. Rice cookers, yes. |
Holy cow. I was given a Zojirushi rice cooker AND matching breadmaker by a neighbor who had just finalized his divorce. I had no idea these things were so expensive!!! I used to rip on him about the rice cooker as it said "fuzzy logic" on it. He gave me the stuff as he said his (ex)wife bought it on his credit card and he was still pissed about it. I gave him a couple boxes of .40 cal in trade....
Wow. I have the smartest goddamn rice cooker on the BLOCK. I am nervous everytime I plug it in. Isn't this the thing that started that global war in the Terminator movies? Isn't Zojirushi japanese for "cyberdyne systems"? Best of luck, Rice rules, Cheesebeast |
No. Some other brand I can't remember.... |
hell...i've got bicycles that cost over $4,500.
a c-note for a rice cooker? you're still 'normal'. now...that $2k coffee pot! that's freakin' nutzy cuckoo! |
Dude, yer named after a vitamin.
I've known yer crazy for years. |
That is 131,250 rounds of .22LR. |
No, it shows yer a more evolved form of life. Survival of the fittest. People owning $2K coffee machines are more likely to get their azz kicked. |
I wouldn't spend that much on a rice cooker, but I can understand dropping some $$$ in the kitchen. I spent $350 on a stand mixer for my wife for Christmas last year. The tools cost money, but I'm so lucky my wife loves to cook. (My waistline doesn't though.)
My last rice cooker cost me a fortune when we got divorced. My new rice cooker and I own a Chinese restaurant here in TN.
NO! I will not stuff it in her pooper and post pictures! |
I spent about $70 on one 15 years ago in Japan and it is still going strong. Does the rice, soup, veggie steaming, etc. But no fancy controls.
I'm a white boy too. Don't knock them till you've tried them Gonna have to try red beans and rice. Does sticky rice, long grain, wild rice, pilafs, adding a variety of things to rice, etc. Potlucks, neighborhood get togethers. We get the 20 pound bags, still looking for a dispenser at a decent price, keeping it in a big tupperware bin now. |
We really love our Zojirushi. Cooks rice of all types, porridge, oatmeal, and grits. Perfectly.
You're a wildman.
Say...did you feel anything hit you in the back when you left the store? It was your change. |
