This was a dog trial [hunt]. I show my dogs too but typically when I show I wear a dress. With field and hunt you get ribbons for placements and points towards championships.

Ok, shameless plug for the best 87-year-old grandmother in the world. I have better pics of her, but I can't find them on the computer. This was taken when she was 16 years old. It amazes me...you don't find classic beauty like that anymore.

*ETA* JoeyA the competitive side is similar to dog shows as the dogs compete against other dogs [but not all the same breed] but its way different than an actual show. Shows are snooty and stuck up. Field Trials and hunt tests you actually shoot something!
