Thursday and Friday were rough with schedule and general fatigue.

Great challenge! You can ALWAYS drop down and do a few every day.

Jan. 6 Total for Year: 2,525

I can knock out 70 or so in one set, but if I have time, sets of 40 every few minutes helps up the numbers while being easier to get in more sets.  For the last 400, I did a set of 25 every 5 minutes (downloaded an EMOM timer) while I watched a movie.

When I saw this thread a week ago I knew that I was in the worst shape of my life and that it was time to get off my ass and make some changes. I told myself that 100 pushups each week wasn't too much to commit to, and I did.

Today I did 220, with 886 on the year so far.
For first set of the year I was able to get 20 reps. Today I started off with 39. (Was going for 40 but halfway up that last rep was all she wrote )

Very happy to be participating. Feels good to make progress for a change.

Another 302 today.

Most I've done in a week ever, I guess I just never tried hard enough. Might be it for the week for me.

Gonna focus on more reps per set next week. I'd love to be able to pump out 50 at a time.

Also, for those interested, we've have a thread like this in the MTB/Cycling forum going, if anyone wants to post their ride (or ski) stats/pics.

I did 620-630 for the week. My pecs were sore so I cut back.

Still on schedule for 500+/week. Even with my bad back.

Losing some Christmas weight helps as well.

I used to be in great shape until a string of back surgeries the last few years.  Amazing how much strength you lose without regular workouts/exercise.

The wife and I started doing some work last week, I'm doing elliptical, knee raises and pushups for now.  Increasing time and numbers as I go, but man, do I feel weak starting out.  Just starting with 3 x 10 each night (not every day, maybe I'll work on that).

150 for the month so far

My back is trashed. This time last year, I was getting steroid injections.

I can knock out 15 and 20 reps sessions a few times a day now.

My tits were hurting after day 3.

Start slow. Do what you can.

If I can, you can.

Ok, in.

My shape has declined quite a bit in the last 3-4 years.

I will start in the morning, and track my progress with a spreadsheet.

I was plowing snow from 10pm to 4:30am, slack please?

I have a couple errands and then I will do today's pushups.

I am really sore.  I hit a manhole cover with the bobcat at full speed(it's a 2 speed too).  The cover did not move.  Bobcat went airborne and spun 180.  My stomach took a huge shot from the crossbar.  Everything hurts right now.  But I'll do what I can.
