175 so far today. Probably do at least another set or two before bed.

Up to 1435 YTD.

Triceps are SORE

Chest is actually fine and my endurance is ok, but my tris are burnt hard. GOOD!  

Strongest I've felt in a long time.  And I have 357 days to go!


ETA - just hit a few more...now 265 on the day with 1525 YTD

I've been a bit absent this week due to a bad cold that has zapped my ability to talk at this moment.

Checking in. Got 20 on Tuesday, and I shoveled snow yesterday and today instead. Hey, it is really heavy wet snow, and I shoveled for 2 folks besides me. If I was 50, I could probably still knock both out. I need a different kettlebell. I have a 15#, I need something heavier.

No work today and original plans got cancelled, so I did some tabata workouts and incorporated push-ups.  Then, since this thread has me addicted to push-ups, I set an EMOM timer.  30 push-ups every 2 minutes for 20 minutes lets the number increase well without too hard of a push.

Are you able to alleviate the pain by experimenting with hand placement?  I find bringing my hands in to where they are inline with my torso, rotating my hands slightly out (pushes my elbows towards my body), and leaning slightly "over my skis" puts most of the pressure on my triceps and lats.

Switched it up a bit and bumped my reps per set up to 15.

Got 5 sets in this morning for a total of 75.

Had some online work classes...boring.  So...listened and did more push-ups...

Up early today and was feeling pretty good. Decided to push myself a bit and ended up at 90, which is the most I’ve done in a single session so far.

If I get some time this evening I knock out a few more sets.

Been wearing armor all day while doing chores yesterday and today.

Up to 50 in armor this morning.

I haven't worn armor all day for a decade. Discovering weaknesses.

That’s my next goal. Once I’m comfortable knocking out 5 sets of 20 reps I’m going to start tossing in sets of 10 with my plate carrier loaded up and on.

Pushed myself a little further again this morning to see how many sets of 15 I could do before being unable to complete a set.

Ended up at 7 sets plus 12 reps, for a daily total of 117.

Looks like I'm just about over my cold.

The last week has been rough with a persistent cough and such.

Completed 2 sets of 50 in the last few hours and that puts me at 1500 for the year.

I'll get between 100 and 300 tomorrow.
