Infinite dragons in the game, a collectable 12" Skyrim dragon statue, a 200 page coffee table artwork book, and a "making of" DVD. |

It seems like the later NV patches adjusted stealth considerably over the original set-up, so perhaps it won't be as limited in Skyrim as it could have been. |

Just got my copy of Gameinformer and it confirms that the Dark Brotherhood is in Skyrim, but is much harder to get into.

I've become a RPG junkie since Fallout 3. I just finished a back-to-back run of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.
I'll have to pick this up- it looks great. I'll miss my assault and sniper rifles, though. |

I pre-ordered my copy last night. I tried playing Morrowind again, but the graphics and controls are awful on Xbox ( I don't have a PC). Oblivion is still good though, although I can't finish Allies for Bruma because one of the Sigil Stones won't activate for me.
I would love a remade version of Morrowind. |

I have never played it all the way through, the graphics and lack of actual speaking characters killed it for me. I would love to have it remade with current gen graphics (ala Halo CE Anniversary Edition). |

I played it most of the way through back in 04 or sometime back then. I guess I didn't realize how bad the graphics were or how clunky the controls were.

I can't wait. Gonna have to join the Brotherhood. That quest line was awesome. Poor Lucian got the short end of the stick. The Clue style mission was fucking hilarious. |

I just finished the Dark Brotherhood part today. Poor Lucien haha oh well. I'm just ready for Skyrim. I'm glad we won't be able to fast travel until we already have discovered the main cities. Kinda like Morrowind. Although getting rid of fast travel all together wouldn't bother me.

I just built a PC partially for this game. As far as these type of games, it is the way to go just because of all the mods available. They are not an option with consoles. |

That's the joy of Oblivion on consoles. I didn't have Xbox Live until this year, so all my games were unpatched original versions, with all the issues from initial release. Oblivion was always a crap-shoot as to what quests would be bugged on a play-through. The Thieves Guild quest-line was the most noticeably unreliable. There were many more games in TES and Fallout beforehand which could do with it, too. Most of them made Morrowind look graphically amazing. I didn't really play many games back then due to the graphics. Remakes of the early Fallout series don't seem like a very popular idea with many fans, but it seems like they could be very successful with a generation that mainly began playing these games at Oblivion, FO3 and NV. |

Looks like Bethesda is talking about trying to get mods for Skyrim on........CONSOLES! Woohoo! Us console guys may get to enjoy all the sweet Elder Scrolls mods now too. Link to article. If they actually get this up and running it will be awesome. I am so excited for this game. |

Allowing the Skyrim version of a Fallout GECK may be a possibility, but MS (and presumably Sony) have zero interest in allowing downloadable mods that will cut into paid-for DLC profit margins. |

Pretty much. Free player made mods...or DLC that they can charge you for? hmmm Which is why I say PC if you have one that can run it for these type of games. for FPS any more I usually go console so I can play with my GF. (though BF 3 I'll go PC on) |

In that article it says 90% of their audience is on consoles? I find that hard to believe. The PC community with Elder Scrolls games is huge.

How much would it cost to have a PC capable of running Skyrim?

If you want to run everything at max at very high resolutions you have to pay a good chunk of change for that kind of rig. But you could also get a PC that will run it at medium-high at adequate resolutions for $700-$900. |

Yes they are faster, but not twice as fast compared to a $250-$300 card. $250-$300 is pretty reasonable for a decent graphics card. I'd like to upgrade my computer soon and plan to get one of those new unlocked LGA 2011 processors for about $500. Throw in the cost of DDR3 RAM (I'm still on DDR2) and a new motherboard and you're probably around $800. Add a $250 graphics card and you're probably around $1100 with shipping and you'll be set for a couple of years. |

The price difference is not If you also do work that involves heavily threaded applications, sure go for the i7 or whatever is next, but just for gaming? save cash and get an I5-2500k. The sweet spot for graphics cards RIGHT NOW IMO, is something like the 560Ti in SLI, 6850's in Xfire or a single 6970/GTX570 210$ish for processor, 350$ or under for graphics card/s. Ram is like 60$ for 8GB of Corsair. 150$ish for a good MOBO. You can build an decent rig right around 1k if not lower as stated above. |
