Does anyone know what KS laws are for "just passing through" with a suppressor?
Does anyone know about the legality of shooting prairie dogs in SD with a suppressor? |

Connecticut clarification.
If you owned a select fire before the connecticut AWB in 93, you are OK. Otherwise, now the only ones you can get are non-selectfire(full auto only) belt feeds, etc... Edited to add. I have been talking to CT firearms licensing unit at CT state police. The ruling, based on the CT assault weapons ban, is that selective-fire is banned along with a list of specifically named semi-auto's. If the weapon is modified to function full auto only before it is imported into CT(or possibly by an in state class 3) you MAY take posession. looks like I'm gonna get my MAC afterall :) 16's are way to expensive, holy moly. |

I was wondering if any body knows any thing about SBR's in Montana, as I am wanting to register my m4gery receiver as an SBR, any help appreciated, thanx

I emailed Frist, Hastert, Bush, and my state senators today telling them to LET IT DIE IN '04! Everybody write now, and write back often!!! These punks ouw us one!

Judging from the fact that KS doesn't accept other states CCW, I'd be seriously surprised if anything else considered "illegal" according to KS law would be ok if you had paperwork from another state. I could be wrong, tho. Didn't see anything on the website about it, only CCW (or lack thereof). Man, I hate Kansas. |

|
Passing through KS is fine, keep it secured and out of reach.
South Dakota has no problem using machineguns or silencers on varmints like P-dogs or coyotes |

Class 3 shooters blow thier load faster and with just one pull on the trigger

All the info for Kentucky looks right, but I'm pretty sure DD's aren't legal. I could be wrong, it's happend once or twice before.

Excellent advice, and so true! The personal letter goes farther than any other communication....except for a financial contribution to the politician's campaign. |

Hey guys! I'm new here, obviously, and I just wanted to start a discussion. After reading article after article, opinion after opinion, on the subject of gun bans, and notice that every proponent advocating a ban miss one point... has anyone, intending to enter a premises and kill someone, EVER, thought "damn this gun is banned from (school, courthouse, etc.), guess I can't kill anyone here..."
Same goes for the banning of a type of weapon. It really bugs the hell out of me, because the person intending to kill, maim, or rob someplace is not going to care about any gun restriction, period. Of all those mass killings, Luby's, schools, etc., someone please tell me how these bans would have prevented that. Correct me if i'm wrong, but carrying a weapon in those places was illegal at that time. Just a thought. |

You must understand laws are to keep the honest man honest. They are not for the criminal.

Dunno about the Kansas thing, but in SD nobody is going to bother you when shooting prairie dogs unless you shoot at one of those popular spots on the pine ridge reservation. I shoot up north of Philip, about 45 min east of Badlands Natl Park. Hopefully Ill get a chance to drive up this coming summer and try out a couple new rifles. |

Hey guys,
I'm curious about SBRs in states that have enacted their own AWBs now that the national one has expired. Using Maryland as an example, can you bring in an SBR that was built using a no-ban rifle purchased after the national AWB sunset? Does that fact that you registered it as an SBR negate the fact that it has no-ban features? I'm guessing it would still have to be a pre-pan or post-ban weapon, otherwise that would be a loophole to get around the state AWB. Thanks, Dave |

I have a question, A buddy of mine is in college in North Dakota and hes now a resident there etc, and he bought a p22 with a suppressor. Now its legal to won there, but not here in MN. If he were to bring it here to MN (I own some farmland, thats where we would be shooting it), would that be legal, or does a states ban on suppressors affect non residents.

How will belonging to the "9th circut" affect ownership/possesion rights? What is the significance? AZ, CA,NV,ID ect all fall under this circut and all have an astrick (*) by them, why the denotation?

Clarification...
MO Y N Y Y Y N N (C&R mg, sr, sg only to non-FFL holders; FFL holders (including C&R) any mg, sr, sg) For Missouri, if I translate the above correctly, only C&R MGs, SBRs, SGs and AOWs are allowed for the "general" population to own. Yet, if you spend the $30.00 for a C&R license, then you can own any MG, SBR, SG or AOW. Is this correct? I guess I need to get my C&R before applying for the SBR. Gary |

There is no state registration of MG's in Arkansas. It was done away with in years past.
