It’s not me. I have a modest car collection of motorcycles and performance/tuner/exotic cars and 2 rather normal daily drivers.
But I am a car guy to my core. (And have been since I was a fetus) and there are a few really odd cars that I would like to have in my stable. (Like a Pinzgauer or a DeTamaso Longchamp, among others that don’t really invoke “hyper rare showoff car” ) I was the celebrity guest at a convention center car show recently (in a midsized metro) and I found myself enjoying the weird cars more than the “tuner lambo” stuff. (Which I damned well also like). Crazy shit like a restomod 6.9 Mercedes. It was just so different and awesome. Anyways, if you filter out the noise from the signal, arfcom is one of the most awesome places on the net for “that is dialed in” answers…. So, who here has some really weird shit in the transportation department? |

I have a 1975 olds convertible I bought off the showroom floor as new in 2002. Was my daily in HS and college and still have it in the garage, need to get it back to it's glory days.
I also had a fully rhinolined FJ cruiser seen here did it all myself when this kind of thing was pretty rare. Super cool but not ideal with young kids and carseats |
