All they are doing with this shit is forcing the Supremes to acknowledge Trump has broad immunity as POTUS because Trump's attorneys can literally argue that they're trying to murder political opponents. It's right there in black and white in proposed legislation that is as unprecedented as the prosecution is.

It's not going to happen. It would take years in the SCOTUS to change that part of the constitution. Plus it would expose every living past president to the same treatment, regardless of political party.
