Sounds like the reasoning listed in the original responce was that their employees are not allowed to be armed so the 30.06 signs were posted to protect their employees from armed customers!

"While there are probably many responsible members of society licensed to
carry handguns, and you no doubt are one of them, being the employer
of 100 plus non-armed employees, I do support my businesses decision
to post that signage."

This is just another example of liberal hypocracy, par for the course.

I went by the Lake Creek Alamo this evening. No where did I see any type of sign that looks like the 30.06 notice. The closest thing I saw was the standard "Unlicensed possession...." sign.

So, I went to see "No Country For Old Men" tonight.
Weird movie, very well done.

Excellent.  Nice to see our communications actually swayed thier decision.  I sure wish this were the case more often!

+1 We just came from there. Saw no country. What a let down for an ending.
No negative signage

Should we write and let them know we have noticed and have started going back?

Absolutely. It is not enough to just force the issue, when you get change that is favorable to your cause it is at a minimum polite and gracious to say thank you .

Three months of leave?  Is that normal??

Crap response at that...

Wonder if Laurens absence has anything to do with the sign being gone and if it will return with her?

It looks like a standard "..away from office..." response, not one I'd be worried about.

No, I don't think those signs cause pregnancy

I am glad that the stupid sign is gone.

He disarms them and then he thinks he is protecting them by putting up a sign?  [whacko]

You guys are my heros.

I'm just glad they came to thier senses.  My wife and I go to the movies fairly often on Fridays just because we generally like movies, and the Alamo set up is nice in that you can eat and see a show at the same time (i.e. the wife doesn't have to cook that night).

I would have hated to go back to the old way, un-neccessarily.  Or we'd have just cut back on movies.

Now if we can get some other bozo's to heed the warning...
