I'm in Elmore county.  Anyone around the tri-county area chime in if you want them shipped closer.  I would rather spend a couple of bucks for the transfer than spend 4 hours on the road to travel to B'ham (I believe that is around the area that CombatArms is).  I usually use Alan (Tactical Supply/Redland Wholesale), but I'm open to using others if need be.

Eight - are you the only one getting one, or are there others from the Montgomery/Prattville?wetumpka area as well?  I am thinking a lot about getting one.

As far as I know, I am the only one that would want mine shipped to this area.  I have contacted others, but no luck.

I figured I would call him when the orders are confirmed and this was ready to go. He has done a lot of transfers for me that way. I just call and give the info and he faxes it out, when it gets in he calls me.

Where is Combat Arms in Shelby County? That is a big place and could be a long way to drive for some. Anyone checked with an FFL in Jefferson County to handle a mass volume?

North B'ham would be fine.  Got a guy who will do it free but would like to help out a member here, especially one who volunteered to handle this. Just didn't want to go a 100 miles. N. B'ham is close

from what I understand, FFLs have to sign off on firearms at their legal place of business per the ATF, otherwise we really could have ice cream trucks selling firearms at any street corner.

B.B.,
I was wondering what had been chosen on the size for the AR15.com ? Large or Small?
thanks,

gunham - response from who?

Billy - the large.  honestly it does look better than the small in person.  I mean, if ya'll want to have an official tally, post a poll.  I can get better comparative pictures if that happens

Since we have reached the limit, I guess you will order when all the funds come in (instead of keeping the order open for 45 days)?  Come on peeps, send that $$$.

Since the limit is 50, are they going to be numbered "1 of 50, 2of 50" ect? I guess we should have thought of that on the front end uh?

Beetle, I'm still alive. Sent you an IM. I guess someone here could have answered my question, though. Are we making payment payable to Anvil Arms, or to Beetle ? As soon as i get this info, My money will be on the way to you.   Edit---got info-payable to Beetle. Thanks. (payment made)

To BeetleBailey.  Sorry that I wasn't clearer, but I wanted to see if a relative wanted one before placing an order.  He is heavy into building things and I thought that he might be interested, but I could never get a hold of him.  Thanks.

p.s.  staff said to contact them if we hit/exceed 50, I have IM'ed with an official request but have not heard back yet, in case those of you initially excluded are still interested.  I'll let you know if and when I hear back.  Response to all recent emails/IMs sent.

FYI, I'll probably be cashing all the funds in the next couple of days since the cut off is Tuesday.  I can't wait to submit orders Wednesday.

How do you all feel about me posting the spreadsheet (just with screennames and the text you are wanting) to ensure order accuracy?

Also, again, I am assuming everyone will want to go with the standard arial font rather than the all caps font as shown in the sample lower, unless you tell me otherwise.

I can go to the post office within the hour with a next day USPS MO for $103.  That puts it to your door either tomorrow or Saturday, depending on if the USPS decides to send it today.

If this is good, shoot me an IM with your name and address and I am off to the PO.

Payment sent off today. USPS money order. It will be in your box on monday, they couldn't guarentee saturday due to your post office closes early, so it might be there on sat but count on monday.

No problem with showing the sheet. Personally, I like the lettering style on the sample lower.  I guess it really doesn't matter, whatever you think will look good. They're going to be cool either way we go.

Lettering on the sample looks good to me with the large logo. Also it may just be the pic but will the finish be smooth on the lowers? It looks textured to me in the pics.
