Pat, thank you for coming out and letting me shoot the can!  All your toys were awfully cool, sorry you had to leave so early!

If you've got more pics there is a dedicated pic and video thread started, here is the link for ya.

Well, I've been fingerprinted 6 times, photographed twice, signed 6 times, and paid over $500 to various local and federal governments.

So when do I get my toys again?

I think I need an intervention...

I'm sure in the slow boat.  I didn't get my paperwork filled out until the shoot.  I'm not scheduled for LEO sign-off until Monday the 31st.  I'll try to get to the PO to get it out same day.. which would be the first thing I've done expeditiously in this process

As far as approval, how are they done?  First in first out?

As Pat would tell you no. It's done governmentally. I.e....you don't have a friggin clue on when you're going to get approved.

GOOD NEWS

1st CAN going out TOMORROW
The only "Form-3" of the bunch just came back APPROVED.
It is going to an Out-of-State customer, Mr.  Evars, well to his FFL/SOT.
GREAT TURN AROUND, things are looking UP.

More GOOD News
for those who missed out on the Group Buy

Craig, at Tactical Innovations, has offered me a SPECIAL offer on some more .223 cans.
These are TAC 16 cans that are about .5 to .75 shorter than the standard TAC16, but,
Design, finish, parts, etc are all the same as the 16 cans that we just got.

If interested, I would need the money by NEXT FRIDAY (Nov. 4, 2005)

 1 can = $245
 3 cans = $225
 5 or more = $220

(and I'll pay shipping)

Let me know via EMAIL

So do you have to fill out your citizenship on the finger print cards?  Lady at the court house was not very clear and said not to fill out curtain areas.

I filled out everything I could.

So (as I reach for the copy) I filled out:

Address, Name, Citizenship, DOB, Sex, Race, Height, Weight, Eye, Hair, Birthplace, SSN.

At the Wash. Co. Sheriff's office, the lady at the payment desk had a laminated finger print card example form with the sections that we needed to fill out highlighted.  They certainly had their act together.

Employeer?  On the back of the cards it says thats for "identity of private contractors".

It wasn't filled out at Wash. County example either.

Basically, from my understanding:

1) Forms received
2) Check that each are there
3) Cash check
4) Data entry.
5) Forms sent to West Virginia for approval.

I think YOU get your forms back in the mail with the $200 stamp. Then you call up Mr. Pat and tell him you want your can NOW!

You can also wait 60-90 days or so and call the ATF branch to check on your status. With their new WV branch they have stated a goal of a 60day average turnaround.

BATFE sends the approved forms to ME, the dealer.
Then I will POST here, and or call/email/snail mail/use drums,
however I can to get ahold of you.

The way things are going, you could call in 30 days and give the SN,
all they can say is NOT YET or PENDING.
45-60 days is more realistic, but remember 90 day's is the norm.

The real question is...which one?

First is was ERD (evil rifle disease), then it's BRD (black rifle disease), now it's NFA toys.

My wallet hates me, but I'm enjoying most of it so far.
