Erik, Your not going to need it for 3 months....don't worry, I'm sure we can have them in by then!
An email will be sent tonight concerning this. |
Oh no here comes another 15 pages. |
Pat, thank you for coming out and letting me shoot the can! All your toys were awfully cool, sorry you had to leave so early!
If you've got more pics there is a dedicated pic and video thread started, here is the link for ya. Pic and video link |
Well, I've been fingerprinted 6 times, photographed twice, signed 6 times, and paid over $500 to various local and federal governments.
So when do I get my toys again? |
All your form-4 are belong to us. |
Dude, I've got a Form 4, Form 1, and two CHLs. And I'm pondering another set of Form 4 and Form 1s! I think I need an intervention... |
No, just a CHECKBOOK (with money in it of course) I have LOTS of extra forms, if you need them! Pat |
I'm sure in the slow boat. I didn't get my paperwork filled out until the shoot. I'm not scheduled for LEO sign-off until Monday the 31st. I'll try to get to the PO to get it out same day.. which would be the first thing I've done expeditiously in this process
As far as approval, how are they done? First in first out? |
As Pat would tell you no. It's done governmentally. I.e....you don't have a friggin clue on when you're going to get approved. |

GOOD NEWS
1st CAN going out TOMORROW The only "Form-3" of the bunch just came back APPROVED. It is going to an Out-of-State customer, Mr. Evars, well to his FFL/SOT. GREAT TURN AROUND, things are looking UP. Pat Oregon Research Labs, LLC |

More GOOD News
for those who missed out on the Group Buy Craig, at Tactical Innovations, has offered me a SPECIAL offer on some more .223 cans. These are TAC 16 cans that are about .5 to .75 shorter than the standard TAC16, but, Design, finish, parts, etc are all the same as the 16 cans that we just got. If interested, I would need the money by NEXT FRIDAY (Nov. 4, 2005) 1 can = $245 3 cans = $225 5 or more = $220 (and I'll pay shipping) Let me know via EMAIL Pat Oregon Research Labs, LLC |
That's curious. Why shorter? |
Well, see, when people of shorter stature use the sling, the end drags on the ground. Right? |
Think someone made a BOO BOO Not his "STANDARD" so he is just selling them off, end of the year CLEAN-UP. Pat |
Working on convincing the wife why I need one. Should be able to get $$ to you next week though.
All men were created equal however some were endowed more than others by the Creator.... What can I say? My jokes are stale, I’m bored and it’s Friday afternoon |
Just say that since it makes the rifle quieter, you'll be able to listen to her better. |
So do you have to fill out your citizenship on the finger print cards? Lady at the court house was not very clear and said not to fill out curtain areas.
I filled out everything I could.
So (as I reach for the copy) I filled out: Address, Name, Citizenship, DOB, Sex, Race, Height, Weight, Eye, Hair, Birthplace, SSN. |
At the Wash. Co. Sheriff's office, the lady at the payment desk had a laminated finger print card example form with the sections that we needed to fill out highlighted. They certainly had their act together. |
Employeer? On the back of the cards it says thats for "identity of private contractors".
It wasn't filled out at Wash. County example either. |
Citizenship wasn't filled out at WASH CO. |
Was it the cute Brunette with the "stripper" body? Man, eveytime I go in there...she's good looking, friendly, sense of humor...ACK! |
Not unless you like really fat strippers I would say she was nice, but not nice looking. |
Ah. You missed her then. Sorry to hear that. |
Paige S.? In finger printing? |
No, in Records where you go pay downstairs. |
The stuff on the back of the check isn't all that legible on the image available on-line. Now lets see how long it takes them to find out I'm not a crook.
I thought the check wasn't cashed till they were ready to start the whole process.
Basically, from my understanding: 1) Forms received 2) Check that each are there 3) Cash check 4) Data entry. 5) Forms sent to West Virginia for approval. |
That would be the devils tongue |
So how will we know when get approved? Do we get our forms back in the mail? Do you get them? |
EDITed: I don't know what I'm talking about. See Pat's post below.
BATFE sends the approved forms to ME, the dealer. Then I will POST here, and or call/email/snail mail/use drums, however I can to get ahold of you. The way things are going, you could call in 30 days and give the SN, all they can say is NOT YET or PENDING. 45-60 days is more realistic, but remember 90 day's is the norm. Pat Oregon Research Labs, LLC |
I know 2 people who received cans in the last few months that took 120 days! :-( |
Here's a good one on dates.....
My integral 45 setup. Form 3 submitted 02/25/05 approved 04/15/05 my form 4 was sent to ATF 05/14/05 Approved on 10/28/05 received 11/07/05. I'd hope yours goes a bit quicker. |
When we going to TCGC to shoot that bad boy? |
It'll be a few weeks. My dog needs alot of care right now, not a bunch of free time.
Sorry about that. I forgot and are now reminded why you couldn't make the BC shoot.
Best wishes. |
That was PRE-WV I have had two "Form 3's" signed with-in 48 hours! Keep your FINGERS CROSSED, THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS, start loading MAGS! Pat Oregon Research Labs, LLC |
Don't get me wrong, I hope you are right Pat! But if I prepare for the worst, I'll be VERY happy when the forms return in <90 days!! :-) |
My check was cashed today. So at least I know they received the forms, and didn't have any problems with what I sent them (yet).
I just now got a appointment with the CSO. And to add, I wasn't even guranteed he would be there either.
I have a feeling ya'll will be playin with your cans long before I will. And no CH, that doesn't mean I want to play with your can, we are talking supressors here. |
The real question is...which one? First is was ERD (evil rifle disease), then it's BRD (black rifle disease), now it's NFA toys. My wallet hates me, but I'm enjoying most of it so far. |
