Only ~5300. I need more. I've only been "collecting" it for a few months though.
damn, you can actually find people in the sporting good dept. i have to track people down and then they have to call somebody, who calls somebody else. and 15 minutes later they tell me the person w/ the keys is on lunch. i hate that place. |
5k... not much. I need to buy some more. but I don't have a 22LR firearm anymore.... I need to pick up a GSG5... but stupid thing has been on back order for months......
The .22 isn't locked in the case at my Walmart, just behind the counter. If There is noone there I just reach and grab it and carry it up front. Noone has said anything yet. |
I am only sitting around 7k, I have been picking up a couple of 550 round federal packs every week or so for the last month at wally world when I am by there.
Ohhh.....1000 rounds or so I figure. Dont see much use for more then that but I wouldnt complain if I did have more.
about 2000......Just started buying a 550 bonus pack on each payday.....so ny end of year will be in good shape
About 10k of standard and about 5k of hollowpoints. I just bought 2k of the 5mm Rimfire Remington that Augilla is producing, hoping to pick up another rifle. I need to stock up on 17HMR, I've only got about 1000 rounds stuck away.
Jesus you guys are ammo whores.
I think I have a total of 800 rounds. Give or take 100. Of course, my only .22 jams every other round and shoots 6" low at 50 yards with the scope adjusted completely. |
I prefer "Ammunition Compensated Personal Service Provider". |
How much would that weigh? 300 lbs or so? |

28k going for 80k at minimum - WHY?
Future... 1. Cost increase(assured) 2. Taxation(likely) 3. Restriction(possible) Prices are still good. Only interested in Fed Bulks and all of CCI's products. |

Since the "ban of '94" I have bought one brick of .22 shells every week from Walmart while getting our groceries. That's 14 years, times 50 bricks a year-2 weeks vacation. You figure it out. Now, I do shoot quite a bit of .22 as well and I have two sons that help....nonetheless, it's well over 150k- well over.
At $10-15 a brick it's not tough to do. Every week....a little "savings" account if you will. Hell, I don't even go to the store anymore, my wife picks it up as part of her regular list! I think the guy behind the counter would call the police if she didn't show up two weeks in a row and report her missing! |

I have 3 layers of homemade soda can shims underneath the rear ring. The next thing I will try is to swap the front ring for the rear ring. I am starting to suspect that one of the rings is out of spec compared to the other. I cannot remember where I got the mount and rings. But that seems to be a likely culprit. I havent shot the gun much in the past ten years. I had to leave them at home while I was in the service and went overseas, then could never bring them back with me while I was stateside. Its been bugging me for awhile. |

More than I thought I had. This thread made me actually count the bricks...
Wish I had an Ammo Genie to turn it into .223 and .308 |
Maybe 9k right now, but I just got my first .22 rifle 6 months or so ago so I haven't had much time to buy. I keep hearing of another price increase on 22lr coming in June so I need to buy more!
No wonder, ammo is flying off the shelf and the cost of ammo keeps getting higher and higher. You guys are sucked. BTW, about 25K to 30K of .22.... |
Well above I mentioned I had 3k rounds but no 22. I bought a 22 a few days ago and now am down to about 1k rounds.
Some things to consider. Ammo may not always be avablile. It can be bartered and used as a form of currency |
I have 35k. I now need to stock up on the subsonic 22LR to go with the supressor for my P22.
I am embarrased that I only have around 10 to 12,000 rds. on hand. If I could find another source for Federal Auto Match, I would probably pick up another 5,000 in the next couple of months.
My nephews and I are going to do a heck of alot of shooting this year! |
About 14K. I plan to bump that up to 20K in the next week or two.
Ever find a good source for automatch? I buy out Walmart regularly but I would love to get a case of it somewhere. Wally world normally only has a few boxes in stock. |
What have you stocked? Everything I shoot out of my pistols is subsonic. The only thing I need subconic ammo for is the long guns. |
I have 8K rounds of .22LR. I wish it was much more, but in another couple of months I'll be in a better position to buy.
I have a suppressed Browning Buckmark pistol. Just about any 22lr ammo stays subsonic when shooting it. The P22, since it has a shorter barrel, should be similar. I only need to use subsonic 22lr ammo in suppressed rifle length barrels. And as to the OP's original question- @8k subsonic @10k high velocity |
Excellent 1st post!! Welcome! |
I'm down to about 6 CCI blazer bricks, 2 bricks of rem hollow points, and about 800 rds assorted CCI goodstuff (shorts, longs, standard V, minimags), and 2 bricks of Wolf match target.
I'd like to see the wolf match target come back down to under $30 again. I won't buy it at $40-50. Shame too, the 40x won't chamber most of my other stuff except the CCI Std V, (as it shouldn't, but you get the idea) |
5K or so...I want to get it at an even 10K.Space is at a premium for me,so that's all I can do until I finish building my man room when I get back.
I'm up to about 4k or so. But I passed that amount with 223 and 7.62 so who cares.
Umm.. I have a little under a thousand rounds. ~900? Thats a lot right? |
Somewhere around 3000. But that's good accurate ammo, not the shitty bulk stuff.
About 33K of the "Shitty Bulk Stuff" that I can hit a pimple on a gnats ass with my trusty Henry Iron Sighted Lever Action piece of shit.Life is Grand!!! |
