My little daily.  no mods, just bone stock.  I've thought about doing small mods (tune, intake) but not sure I want to step up to more expensive gas.  ETA - neat, page 65.

Sold my CT4-V Blackwing after finally finding a Porsche dealer to work with to start down the path of getting a GT3. To get on the list, I obtained a Cayman GTS allocation. My GTS came in a few weeks ago and I’m absolutely loving it!

Thank you!! I’m loving it.
Had some GT3 wheels custom made. I like them better than the other black set, which are now dedicated for track.

Congrats!!! That’s badass! Welcome to the club.
Be careful, it gets expensive! I’m trying to convince the wife we need that NA 4.0 in our garage parked next to the 911.
Gorgeous GTS!

That is a beautiful car. you have there!

Thank you very much as well!  I've been trying to do business with a "nearby" dealership for about 4 years now.  We were about to buy a camper when my wife gave me the final ok to buy a Porsche.  I drove past the camper dealer and went straight to the local Porsche dealer.  They wouldn't so much as give me the time of day.

I was about to throw in the towel and just be content with the Cadillac when I reached out to a friend of mine who does business with another dealer in NC and gave me the contact information for his salesperson.  I sent him an email and told him that I wanted a new GT3 and I knew that I had to develop a relationship with them first, and I was wondering if buying a Cayman GTS would get me on the list.  He emailed me back and told me to give him a call.  We spoke for about 15 minutes about what my intentions were and I gave him a rundown of my previous and current cars, and that the GT3 was a bucket list item for me.  He said he would get me on the list for the CGTS and would be back in touch.  Considering how my other car buying experiences have gone, I anticipated never hearing from the guy again to be frank.  He called me back about an hour later and said he had a GTS allocation that locked the next day and asked if I was in.  The rest is history!  I got my GTS for MSRP and I'm on track to get a GT3 at MSRP whenever they start up production again.

Talking about convincing the wife...  She's not a fan of Porsches really, but when we were in the dealership they had a new Sport Classic on the showroom floor that she fell in love with, specifically the interior.  If I didn't move forward with a GT3, I'd probably try get a 911 GTS with that interior if it was still available.

Already posted in the Porsche thread, but she is my first. 2008 Cayman S. Fabspeed exhaust and headers, ported heads, Apex wheels, HR coilovers, GT4 front bumper and more planned. Thing is going to get me in trouble!

Had been looking for quite a while for a good Foxbody and finally scored, from a friend in the Colorado Shelby club too.
all I had be finding prior to this were clapped out pieces of shit or automatics or both.
It’s a 2 owner 1987 with 64k original miles.

Thank you, I'm pretty over the moon about it. I also had an 88 back in high school and have been wanting to go back old school.
Been having fun ordering stuff for it, Mats, new window rollers, side stripe etc.

Its about 95% but has some stuff I need to do as well as address some hail damage it got this summer the one time it was out of the guys garage too.
He had bought it for his only son, who got really into the car. Ran it in the Mile etc, but saldy his son took his life 2 years ago and the car just sat.
I ran into him at the track last wednesday night and oogeled at the car while we shot the shit & he texted me the next day and offered it to me.
So i jumped all over it.

Dang, sad about the son.
It sounds like he made a good decision for the car and moved it into good hands that will care for it.
Were you doing circuit track or 1/4 mile, in the GT350?

I do both, but this night was the 1/4 mile as it was the second to last night at Bandimere before it closes down forever.
the car is boring and pretty Mundane on the drag stip as I always run 13.2 -13.3 at 109-112, clearly not the cars fortee and at a mile high and change... but fun nonetheless with all my car buddies.

That's what I wanted to put on mine, but Toyo doesn't make 'em in a 285/35/18. Not sure how well a 275/35 r888r will fit on a 10" wheel.
