One of my sales guys was in the Rhodesian army. His twin brother was also. Was blinded in the war.
Some of his stories make one think about what was going on over there. Plus he is very opinionated on African affairs.

I'm simple, I'm bad at math, and I'm ignorant of Rhodesian history. So I've asked for an education on what went on, and I'm getting snippets, but nothing substantive. ETA: and no, I don't think Africa "belongs to the Africans." However I think colonizing, or conquering there is a pretty hopeless undertaking. There are some places where Western Civilization can't thrive. |
