@Ankratz Cerakoted my Noveske H barrel and did a damn fine job and is currently working thru the other 5 as I send them one at a time as I don't particularly like how a SS even bead blasted looks after some real usage.................

Noveske H Barrel mounted............................

Now she sits patiently awaiting our boy Blue to finish those damn 22m's so I can put the M110 Mk4 FDE back on her!  I was gonna delete the Recce Rail and mounted the Scope in an older Taupe Anodized M110 Base but I just can't give up the Recce Rail I think it makes the H's looks so now I wait...............

And since I replaced the PRI Douglas H it naturally had to have a home so we gonna do the unmentionable and build the H's whore half sister...........Soon folks Soon......

If I'm being Honest I had never seen a Cerro Forged Diemaco Upper until I bought this one lol I own 2 D Anchor Harvey Uppers and that's all I've ever seen

I love the look of the PRI hand guard but once I tried the URX I knew there was no going back. The unfortunate side effect in my case is that my once mostly-Holland build is now Mod H-adjacent, Razor 1-10x and all….

I've spent quite a few hours looking through this and the Mk12 thread. What's the purpose of the collar on the barrel?

You hear that? I'm fine! And I thought I had a face for radio...  ;)

I'm partnering with some guys to get an AK shop going. Should be licensed by end of March. Primary focus will be building rifles, but I'll be taking on Cerakote work under our name Partisan Defense, Inc. for anything serialized. Planning to get an SOT for fun stuff, as well.

Apologies if it’s been asked before but with how a lot of options have become unobtainium since this thread’s inception, what are some of the more attainable (and more affordable) clone-correct options for optic and mount for the Mod H? I finally managed to snag a Mod H Pri upper and though I know it’s not 100% correct I still want to put together a good build as the Mk12 had been a bucket list gun of mine for years and I feel I’m getting close to making that dream a reality finally.

Thank you for the input.

If you wanted to use an ACE SOCOM stock, they recently released a new batch of the older design for clones.

I want to build a Mod H, but I want to do it in 6ARC, because I have enough 5.56 rifles. With CLE no longer taking retail/custom orders, who's the go-to for a 16 inch OPS profile barrel in 6ARC? Craddock Precision?
Link Posted: 3/16/2024 11:25:04 PM EDT
[#24]
Craddock is an option, Ballistic Advantage has a 16” already profiled or buy a longer barrel and have it turned by Adco or the likes

Well I felt compelled to paint some of it. I ordered this Bison 6.8 barrel not realizing that they’re profiled for an M4 collar rather than an SPR collar, but we’ll give it a shot and see how it performs. Now I just need to get it on paper and hopefully on a deer.

I'm kinda fucked/stucked at the moment with my URX project because the damn shims won't fit over the PRI Douglas barrel??  Dafuq man.............The last inch or so of barrel to the barrel extension is too big around....

After much deliberation, I decided my almost NSW clone just doesn't appeal to my eye with the can on it and it just looks right on a Mod H so I'm going Mod H. Can anyone give a quick list of what optics have been seen on Mod H's in LT104s besides what's on the first page? I've been trying to read through the thread but 50 pages of reading and lack of sleep has my eyes crossing.

And I know it's a pic thread but I don't think something with KAC FF RAS belongs in here

Edit: Ignore the part about optics in a LT104. I’ll probably end up with the rail and ring mounts anyway.

I want to say that it was just the Leupold (Vari-X?) with the LT104.

Edit: I'm not the SME on it. It's just from what I've came across through my research.

Yeah I didn’t anything else mentioned or listed. I’ll end up with a rail and rings anyway cause it makes the Mod H. Still would like to know what’s been seen in use though.

Although I found a Mk4 3.5-10x40 for $750 a few hours away, but it’s non-illuminated and M1 turrets. Seriously considering it cause the only correct truly scope I found was like $2k

PRI tube came in today. Yanked the RAS and threw the tube on. Much gooder. RAS is gonna get sold to finance a Leupy 3.5-10, then still need a Recce rail and A107s. Need to grab a long bottom rail and MVG. Then it needs spray paint.

I might have it saved on my phone. I'll update when I finish work.

It doesn't show the suppressor mounted. If the collar is installed, it would be covered by the handguard.
