Plus you won't have the extra 10K expense if you have to replace the S/C after the warranty is up. If it is a secondary vehicle that you are not using as a DD, then you can put it on an agreed value policy with Hagerty (Grundy probably offers the same thing). This is much cheaper than a traditional policy - and it doesn't matter which trim package you have (IE: A new scat or a used hellcat with the same agreed value cost exactly the same) - but you must have a DD on a regular policy (IE: Allstate) at the same time. |

Even if you're taking one out of existing dealer inventory, there's not much room between invoice & MSRP for them to knock off unless they're screwing you on financing or trade in (and your $10/HP rebate is $3,750 instead of $4,850 by choosing the 5.7 over the 6.4). It only makes sense if you must have a V8 & you're buying one completely stripped for $32K net (minus maybe a little bit that you can get the dealer to knock off). If you want to go as cheap as possible you can get a stripped V6 for $25K net. |

Some of the car forums have lots of folks that love their 5.7s. It seems they are pretty stout and time-tested. Some supposedly swap the camshafts and get some crazy performance outta them. I love and appreciate all things MOPAR. There are even some dudes that mod the 3.6 AWD Challys and get nice runners.

View Quote Modding the V6 is stupid - it would be cheaper to just buy an RT, your V6 won't perform any better by adding the RIPP supercharger & other nonsense. Modding an RT works, but voids your warranty (mods on any of them actually void your warranty). Scat Pack cars are pretty much optimized from the factory, there's not much to be gained. |

If you order the 1320, with leather, do the $1 addon passenger and back seats match, or are the base cloth?

View Quote 1320 give you drivers seat only - you get a choice between Nappa or Houndstooth cloth. You get cloth passenger & rear seats for $1 each - this option changes your drivers seat back to Houndstooth. If you want the Nappa Alcantara suede you have to order the 1320 plus package for an additional $1795. And if you order it you can only get it in black - it will not allow you to option a 1320 with the red or yellow seat inserts. Honestly the basic Houndstooth cloth is fine - it's looks nicer in person than in pictures. |

My dad was looking at a "getting out of the hospital/didn't die" car. He's had multiple muscle cars over the years, including an original shelby cobra in the 80s. He also had a 73 dodge charge in a metallic blue that he really loved. He was still i. Recover and sent me to look at an ss camaro and challenger wide body. Both were blue, but I really liked the look of the wide body better. He ultimately went with the camaro, but that challenger was sweet..

I just (kinda lost) to a redeye challenger. I think it was at least. It had the Hellcat logo and it was a silver wide body. Anyway, he turned onto a long empty road and I was on him prior to the turn. He punched it and I had to play catch up. While he was spinning I was able to get up to his rear quarter panel and thought I could reel him in. Hard no. It stayed that way until triple digits. Now I need a bigger turbo
