I love Aventus and saw the reviews of Club De Nuit Intense Man and decided to buy a bottle (30 bucks wha the heck). It really does smell tremendously like Aventus. For those not familiar, Aventus is considered the king of male scents. I rarely wear Aventus without some people asking me what I am wearing. Last night I wore Intense Man to work and some of my coworkers asked what I was wearing (the ones who know I have a cologne fetish/collection).
Bottom line: Get it for 30 dollars. You cannot go wrong. The reviews are right |

I like Aventus a lot, but it’s become far too common. It’s the new Aqua di Gio.
I might be excessively contrarian, but smelling unique is important to me. Lately I’ve been wearing Cartier Roadster, a peppermint/citrus type of smell. |

The CDN is amazing for the price. I tried the parfum version on my last bottle, but I think the cheaper version is better. The parfum smells better out of the gate, but it doesn’t last.
For full disclosure, I sell Creed cologne in my shop, but personally I wear the CDN most days. |

Any suggestions on who to trust for decanted Creed colognes? |

I have the EDT and it’s a beast for longevity. I buy from these guys and they’re GTG: https://scentsplit.com/collections/creed-samples/samples I bought a 9ml decant of Portrait of a Lady and Musc Ravageur to try before I’d buy. I’m glad I did. The musc is very, very challenging. @cmw |

Creed Aventus is the Abercrombie Fierce of today. It's way too mainstream and way too many cheap fakes out there. Every third frat boy you run into wears Aventus or a knock-off.

The oil content has to reach a certain point before it can be called eau de parfum. Both versions of a scene have their pros and cons, so you have to go with whichever meets your needs. EDT is usually cheaper and more consistent with performance. This is why every bottle of Creed you get smells slightly different, they are old school and use high quality ingredients. Also, I agree with the poster above me. Aventus is over done these days, which is why I’ve been wearing the green Irish tweed a lot more often. But, I will always keep a bottle of Aventus/CDN around, because it’s still awesome. |

Bottle looks like it was designed by a 12 year old girl.
Who the fuck thought that was a good look for a men's fragrance bottle? |

The fragrance doesn't seem strong as Sauvage For ~$30, not bad. |
