I've heard some second hand reports that modern keyboard typing programs have a lot of "agenda" baked in to them, such as leftist/socialist leaning practice  sentences. Does anyone have experience with this, and recommend an alternative? I've been using a very old Mavis Beacon, but all the house computers are too new to support installation.
I'm not looking for a free software, I don't care what it costs (within reason)

grab you a book and start typing word for word.. i was self taught and was up to 100-110 words a minute in one point in my career. I can no longer do that tho. my career i had for over 10 years i had to type info fast.  not sure if thats the type of lesson you are looking for,  trying to get your words per minute up or basically learning of keyboard?

Not sure you really need a program when there are a thousand practice websites out there.
