Now THAT'S funny... ETA: Dammit, I wish I'd had the forethought to change mine, too. |
I've heard that phrase before.
ETA: Google "buy it cheap" "stack it deep" |
In honor of dpmmn...
ETA: Not trying to make light of the situation, just laughing at DrMark. I posted in the other thread. Not a cool thing to do. |
I don't bother stacking mine,I just buy it by the Pallet so I can move it with a fork lift
No problem buddy |

Is this like two chicks wearing the same outfit to a party, and when they realize it hey have to cat fight?
I dont want to say this.. but I think you are wrong here... Using the 67th design IS fucked up though. |
that makes 2 people's ideas that have been ripped off to make a buck
isn't that an old WalMart phrase? |
Fred uses it, But To my knowledge I am the only one around here that uses it I am not a wally world historian |
Maybe I dont understand?
Do you, or have you, ever tried to make money from the words - "Ammo...Buy it cheap .....Stack it deep" or, do you believe that you were the 1st person to ever say that or something? If so, then I get it. If not... |
After posting, I google'd it and you come up more than anything. I swear I read an article years ago deriding Walmart quoting Sam Walton using that phrase. Anyway, for ammo, it's yours dude |
I think you guys just shit all over that guys add for a really bad reason. that 67th Chairborn Design is a whole diff story though... |
Well we all know that the newbie didn't come up with it and the first I have ever heard of it was from DPMMN so fuck the noob. |
You just took money out of some ones pocket over a Sigline... a "quote" that you were doing nothing with. |
That's an old grocery phrase, along with "Stack it high, watch it fly", "Buy low, sell high" (also for stock traders.)
Yes, it may be your sig line here, but do you really think you OWN that phrase? Have you trademarked it? Hell, I managed a custom AR lower buy and we came up with "Restricted: Civilian Use Only" markings on the right side. Now I see others getting lowers with those same markings. We didn't trademark it (we thought about it) so we can't bitch and whine about it now. I think you have a little sand "down south" myself.... |
OK you are right... |
I sent him a IM, and told him if he sells a few shirts to pony up for a membership
Sorry but unless you actually hold a trademark or a copyright to the phrase, you've just got some sand stuck in an uncomfortable place.
Man, this episode had a lot of potential, but it seems to be ending in a disappointingly amicable fashion. |
You're a good sport dpmmn! |
+1 |
fucked up to steal the phrase, yes
illegal? no. dpmmn doesnt "own" the phrase, even if he started it. If anything, the dude should have asked permission, but beyond being a dick it isnt his problem. |
+1. Is it too late for popcorn [check] beverage [check] etc... |
Huge +1 WTF,over |
The guy is a newbie; you are allowed to phuk with him.
If a person is going to make money from being here they should kick in a few bucks so my email and pictures will work. A few people caught some sand but it wasn't dpmmn. |
Well...
We have this post--------------archive.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=315133
But it doesn't look like you used it as a sig till the end of July 2005------- Note sig as of date in this post------ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=372278 Then using Google found this-------www.libertypost.org/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=70987 Note sigline and date in Culpepers post...
Carry on... |

me too - but I never heard it with "Ammo" in the beginning...but that does not mean it has not been done.... |
not true - you need not have a (C), TM, or (R) displayed, but good luck PROVING it....the (R) is only necessary to go to court. o you can have trademarks but if someone uses it, you MUST register it before you can go to court over it A copyright or trademark on simple phrases or words is not usually acceptable. I have a list of funny phrases that *I* really did come up with on my own or with friends, but I am not sure if anyone else have ever thought of the same phrases: Procrastination is the key to success. Never look a gift whore in the mouth. All's fair in loving whores. Murphy's wife's law - expenditures rise to exceed income. (Formerly: Murphy's law: Expenditures rise to meet income.) Pieces through superior firepower. Hop-n-drop - A Mexican woman can stay in the U.S. by doing this... Life is about risks. Take risks, but not your life. I see said the blind snowman, at 7-11. and more.. feel free to use them!!!!!! |

I started the one with the picture of he door gunner and the space shuttle in the background, but I am not making those shirts. Also, I didn't know who made the logo and I said it wasn't mine in the thread. I can get a link if you want to check for yourself. |
