I searched for bee and didn't see a topic. My brother sent this to me.

ya gotta love those floridians... nothing like a redneck and his fire
Btw, just so everyone knows, SOAPWATER kills bees. Somehow chokes them. Just load up the supersoaker with some palmolive and go to town.

That is awesome. The swingset is kinda FUBAR though "At this point it was clear these little assholes weren't getting the message." |
Ignorant people at their best The honeybee swarm is harmless and no threat to anything or anybody. All the IDIOTS had to do was pickup the phone and contact a BEEKEEPER to remove them at NO CHARGE. They're not rednecks, they're fucking idiots.
The Natural World is Doomed because of this kind of behavior. BTW, I am a Beekeeper by passion. |
Some insects got roasted. If not applaud, deal with it. They're bugs and, however you wish to view them, NOT harmless when little humans are around. |
This guy's in SW US, killer bee or honey bee, you don't take a chance with kids around. IBT "kids argument", these are animals with no inclination to or against harming people. Call me ignorant, I might be in regard to bees, but damn? |
I have dealt with worse. I am speaking of Human behavior here, and the Honeybee may be just a bug to you, but a major pollinator of 90 crops we consume everyday. As I said earlier, nobody, not even the little ones, would have been in danger if they had someone to remove them the right way. Merry Christmas |

True, if they were the Africanized variety, they would have been a problem sooner, as they were in the void of the house for some time. The guy in the photos would not have a chance to get that close to them if they were AHB. Honeybees grow in numbers naturally by SWARMING, at this point they are docile if left alone, they would have moved on once a suitable location is located by the scout bees within a day. |

I'm glad I'm from Chicago. |

Honeybees? Not good...
Now if they were yellowjackets/wasps.... Nuke 'em from orbit... P.S. I once new a guy who's preferred method of yellowjacket ground-nest extermination was BLACK POWDER.... FIRE IN THE HOLE!!! -=BOOM=- |
That's a pretty good fire, seems to me they put themselves in more danger just to kill a few honeybees.
I've never understood why adult men get so freaked out over bees. I can understand kids being freaked out, I know I was. But as an adult, there's no reason for it. Bees are very non-agressive. Wasps and hornets are something else.
I can't count the number of times I've been gardening or working on the car in the driveway, and had bees flying around. Just slow down a bit or sit still and ignore them and they go on about their business. |
"MOTHA FUCKIN BEES ON THE MOTHA FUCKIN SWING SET" |
They have successfully taught their kids how to deal with bees, now every time the kids see them, they'll want to kill them like Daddy did.
If that is their reaction to some bees I would love to see what they do to a home intruder in the middle of the night! It must include all kinds of high explosives and medieval torture devices.

And AHB is now in FL too, they're lucky they weren't AHB's.Those bees are killers, they damned near took out AJ Foyt.

Things like this are the reason my wife has forbidden my aquisition of a flamethrower.. |

That's why I've decided on just being engaged for the rest of my life. I know that once I finally tie the knot and get married, my fun is over lol. |

Somewhere Dr. Darwin and Mr. Murphy are having a talk about the ones that got away in FL.

Yup--idiots. |

Nah--Mrs GT is pretty cool. Once I went to the bike dealership to swap brake pads (they gave me the wrong ones) and came home with a brand new bike. She was only pissed at me for a couple days... Last year, she explicitly told me she did NOT want a gun for Christmas. I built her a lavendar AR and she LOVES it.... I imagine that if I came home with a flamethrower, she'd be a little irritated, but I'd be forgiven shortly. |

we had one of those "balls" show up on the tree next to us as we were setting up the city fireworks show- they apparently dont like 16" shells launching near by....
