My friend got a WWII Colt .45 service pistol (Colt slide, not sure about the frame) from a Marine at one for 200 bucks with a couple hundred rounds of assorted ammo. The Barrett M99 sold 15 minutes prior to that for 1500.

I need to go to more estate sales.

You are the man, it is your fault. All the older guys I know with any common sense have a man room or area that is always locked away from the wife and kids. Yea, guns too (usually you have to ask)... My FFL hits all the yard sales on Sat. He has come back to the shop with some really nice firearms. Old lady, husbands been dead, wants to get rid of the WWII 1911, etc. I've seen it happen a good deal.

I remember when I was a kid and we had a yard sale. My pop stepped away for a few minutes and my mom sold his brand new wheel barrow. She was very excited because she got 5 bucks for it. However, I stopped feeling bad for him when he told me he sold his "prestine" long board shortly after I was born for a few bucks at a yard sale.

I really wish that sucker was in my quiver. That reminds me of another story, I may have to start another thread.
