I only hope that when he said "we are held above the law because we enforce the law" that he meant that we are held to a higher standard than the public due to the trust and authority with which we are empowered.

But I think he meant that he actually was above the law.

I kind of agree with Nikki and think that CCW should be entrusted to all US citizens except for your ATF Prohibited types (felons/domestic batterers/nutjobs). However I think she ought to strongly support HR218 and use it as a resource to forge forward with her own agenda
