There was a thread awhile I remember seeing which mentioned that the Weber lighter cubes were a cheap alternative to the Wet Fire cubes.

I searched but I can't find it.

Anyone have the link?

I picked up soome of these at Home Depot to use for lighting charcoal. With a lighter they light very easily and provide a pretty big flame for several minutes. One cube was all it took to light a chimney of charcoal.
