[Last Edit: Log]
Ordered a DDC upper in the recent sale to complete an all-G DDC build. The DDC lower I was sitting on was a Count Blemula. Holy Shade Difference Batman! Those anodizing disclaimers are for real.
The upper is trending towards burnt bronze, but it's fairly close to the MK8 I'm going to be using and the DDC buffer tube. That said, I'll just wait it out for another lower. Stick this one in my spares pile. Have Bill call me! Attached File |

Grey? Looks almost chalky. Kinda cool, if you decide to sell it lmk

I did a 50 shades of Blemula build. I like the way it turned out. That color on your lower is way off from any G blems I've received.

look for someone doing a Honey Badger like build , that color you have looks spot on.
Have you tried soaking it down in CLP oil or break free? |

Sent you an IM
I have a gold that would look great on yours. |

I’ve been wondering if they didn’t change their process. All of my rails lately have been so dark they look more like Cerakote, and my receivers look like gloss bronze engine paint.

I paint my guns anyway, so as long as the anodizing is everywhere I do not give a crap about color/shade differences. Firearms are to shoot, not to sit and admire like art.

I did a 50 shades of Blemula build in OD Green and it turned out all the parts matched pretty well. That is a huge difference in the DDC.

Pretty much a grey chalky color. Matches the rail in the post above this fairly close, as far as I can tell.
A couple of y'all have PM'd me about selling the lower. I'll respond after the holidays, since the next week or so will be pretty busy. |
