Your digicam came with a cd that has all kinds of software on it. With 99.9999% certainty there is a simple editing program on that cd. If you have lost that cd, download Irfanview, it's a small, free program. Install it. Open your picture file using it. Press CTRL-R and select 640x480 or 800x600 or use the percentage setting. Press CRTL-S to save. Select Save As Type "JPG". Click options and set JPEG Save Quality to 70-80%. Type in new a file name and select save. Then post as before. Edited to add: Of course you could just set your camera to take smaller pics with more compression. |

Chedderboy,
The best resizing program I've ever seen is one that was developed by microsoft techs for themselves, and was never included in any of their programs. It cost nothing, as is simple to use. Download the program, install it (it does by itself). When you open any of your pictures, simply right click and choose the resize option. It makes it one of 4 different sizes, depending on which oen you want. There are no better or easier to use programs that I have ever found. It gives easy, and perfect results with no goofy loss of picture quality. download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe |

I need a good AR graphic to use on a t-shirt or on a web site. Anybody got one?
Thanks |
NcStar is what mine is. 3-9x40 ETA : illuminated reticle. 9 different brightness settings. |

Holy smokes... it's a Duostock... I've never seen one around here.. in fact they're about as elusive as Bigfoot when it comes to photographs of one outside of the manufacturer site. It doesn't really look that bad... I want one if I ever make it to AR #3...
That was funny. |
Where did you find the bayonet that would fit a 16" barrel? |
Hmm, actually not only is my AR missing handguards, but in that picture it's also missing a rear sight, AND a bolt carrier group. However, I should have REAL pictures in a few weeks... |
is that the mount that came w/ the optic? also, any pics of it illuminated? |
It is supposed to have a serial number? |
Ahh, so you grind 'em off too, eh? |
Nah, no mount came with it, I picked it up seperate. I'll get a pic of it illuminated shortly. ETA : |

I can not wait to see this done |
It came out nicely. Norrel Moly Resin? |
Yes, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, take a look at the below thread, it should answer many, if not all questions on Norrell Moly Resin and how to use it. I've used it on various rifles, shotguns and pistols, and both myself, and all who I've done it for have been quite impressed with the results.
www.mgtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4113 Here is a picture of a beater receiver that I refinished, it gives you an idea of the color and texture of SOCOM (Matte Black). |
That was a beater? Do you have any before pictures, because that is a damn fine job of refinishing and I'd like to see just how much of a beater it was before. |
GrooVe,
The slide and small parts are all SOCOM, which is Norrells trade name for Matte Black. The frame is OD Green. Most of the AR15s I've shown on this board are all done with SOCOM/ Matte Black. Check out the link, feel free to email me if you have any questions or if there is anything I didn't cover. |

Man I would loose the Advance technologies dragunov stock on the MISR. If it is a slant cut and you like that style stock I would get a choate. I have one (althought not on a gun right now) and it is top notch. Much much better than the advance technologies. |

That shorty AR10 is so cool, for some reason I like them better with nothing on them, but it's still cool that you got one. |
