Oh yes! However, it canted the rifle too far for the pics! |
Buis? One thing's for cetain, with the red stock this may be the one rifle that might be able to be found if lost in a tragic boating accident.
I have a #40 on the way! Hope it fits! |
i love it. especially the fire switch. post some pics in action! maybe not on zombies, but something!
I've never met one. Hopefully not. In natural light the red really isn't all that visable. Vert dark and a matte finish. I just wanted something unique since I was building on such a cool lower! |
We just go 4 inches of snow, but action pics will be coming! |
lose the red, like everything else, especially the selector. you need to list specs though.

Colt 1/7 M4 barrel 14.5 inches Perm attatched Vortex Bushmaster upper Millett DMS-1 Gen 2 1-4 scope LaRue 1.5 SPR-E mount Magpul furniture Pentagon Light Built on custom lower I got off the EE months ago. I think ony 20 were ever produced! Soon will have custom single point sling and I will probably upgrade light and optics! |

What did you use to paint all the red bits?
This is the most interesting and good looking builds Ive seen on these boards. |
+1. That looks good...what did you use? |
DuraCoated all the metal and plasitc except for the fire control and logo. That was done in automotive paint. |
I think they were bought out by another company. They now only offer right side modification rather than full custom loweres, I think. |
Can anyone confirm this? I was really looking forward to a zombie themed lower in my future... Any contact info? |

Will gun oil mess up Duracoat? I once used high temp engine paint on an AK to clean it up a bit, and after shooting and reoiling it I noticed that the oil began to ruin the paint. Thanks...................................and Killer rifle man

Rollmarks look decent, but the color is not very smooth. How did you color them?
I'm not feeling the red furniture and forend at all, but overall the zombie them is cool. |
+1 |
You painted a LaRue? You gots some cajones, must be big red ones!!
Sorry red not my thing. |
Before I saw the Zombie Marking, the first thing I saw when I saw the red furniture was "This thing HAS to have Umbrella Corp Markings on it."
They were bought out by www.orion-arms.com who can engrave the zombie logo on the mag well under the ejection port but not the full custom jobs like the one in this thread. For the OP, that thing looks great. Add a BUIS and rock on! |
That is possibly the coolest fucking thing I have ever seen on this website.
very cool. unique. tasteful. 1st time i've seen a red and black ar. love the markings too. would've picked up a troy buis though.
Interesting color choice. It looks like a rifle C.O.B.R.A Commander might carry. Nice.
+1 Very nice looking gun! Who says all EBRs have to be black?
I was just thinking that looks like something that came with one of my GI Joes when I was a kid. I love it. Looks great. The red furniture scope mount and forend kick ass. Great job man. Nice to see something more individual than flat dark earth or coyote brown or whatever the .mil camo of the month is. Lots of extra points for originality on this one and great parts list. |
I like the rifle, but the red it a little over the top for me. Nice configuration though.
And to think, in the DAWN OF THE DEAD movie all they had were plain AR-15s to fight the zombies with. Awesome rifle!
B E A U T I F U L ! ! !
The only thing it needs is a sear that will allow the undead to actually operate |
That is so cool: "Safe, Dead, Undead" haha, and the Zombie Killer roll mark...how did you get that done?
Super rifle! |
The answers have already been posted. Read the discussion. |
It's not officially a Zombie Killer until it has laser.
Either red or green laser will do. |
Very nice! I was tempted to do a dark red AR but you beat me to it. Now i'm thinking about doing a dark brown, like chocolate brown, not coyote or FDE.
That sucks, show us a toy we can't buy....Not fair.... |

Love the red!!!!!!
What method did you use for it.........paint? |
