We have clone threads devoted to FBI HRT, Secret Service, and tons of SOF stuff but what about the Marshals? Being about the only respectable federal agency left id like to see what these guys are using currently. Anyone have any ideas or pics?

M4A1 and 6921's are the carbines generally seen in the back of our G-Rides.

I feel like with how much of the top of the line gear HRT has, Marshals would have the same or better going after the most dangerous fugitives.

There's a difference between your run of the mill Deputy Marshal and someone from SOG. That's like giving an infantry grunt shit because he's not as highly trained as Delta.

There are different levels of "US Marshall". Some do courthouse/courtroom security, some do prisoner transport, and some do door-kicking.
A lot of the fugitive door-kicking teams are task-forces made up of local LE "deputized" as a Marshall. |

I have a good friend that is a US Marshall. Let's say somebody gets all messed up on meth, robs a bank, kills three tellers, and holes up in a dirtbag motel and wants to play bad ass. My friend is who they send to dig him out. Super nice young man with a great family. Glad I know him.

On the subject of rifles, one of the guys I have worked with has a new personal rifle that was from an approved list. He had an issued M4 that was pretty worn in

Time to Stop the dick measuring contests and get this thread back on track 1789.
USMS guns include MAC-10 in 9mm (it was the 1980 and disco was on life support!) 870’s in all flavors to include the WP model. Model 66 snubbies SW 59 Sig 226 M16 M4A1 Glock 22,23,19M MP5 UMP And the AUG I brought to the party. |
|
|
DUSM’s issued gear I’ve seen is legit—FirstSpear etc. Some pictured rifles might be personally owned setups.
