I've been looking everywhere for an AR-15 pisol in 9mm caliber. Is there any place that makes them??? If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks! Anthony

I just ordered a 9mm upper from adcofirearms.com. I added special instructions to cut and thread the barrel to 6". Thier website had the upper listed for $400 and the cutting and threading was $65 I think. I will let you know how it is when I get it.

Thanks so much for the help. I'm going to look into ADCO for help. Did you order it custom made? Or did you buy the parts off them?

I orderd a complete 9mm carbineupper with instructions to cut the barrel to 6" past the barrel nut. Steve said no problem. I thought about ordering parts individually, but it is much more expensive. Wheni get it, I will post pics for sure.

How do you guys think the AR-15 pisol chambered in 9mm would be as a self-defense pistol?

I e-mailed Steve at ADCO a picture of a pistol I saw on the web and asked how much it would cost and if he could do it. He said he could. I bought an upper from him and he did all the work on the upper. I also bough some 9mm parts from him. I put the lower together myself. Call or e-mail him. You will love his work. Check ADCO's web sight, They are only open a few days a week.

I don't look at as a self defense anything. Just a fun gun. Plus the fact that they were banned is enough of a reason to build one. No different than a Tec9 or an Uzi pistol.

What 9mm mag block did you use for the lower? What one do you think is best?

"What works for someone may not work for you/others....."
Good bets for fit, fuction, mag compatability.... Hahn block, RRA.....(Colt clone blocks), Colt

I have 2 RRA 9mm's. One's a pistol, the other a 16'' carbine. I have Garrison Mfg. top loading blocks in both. They work great. I use Colt and Pro-Mag mag's. If you get Pro-Mags from Natchez Shooters Supply they are only $10.99!! Also the mag's they have are the new version that fit and work 100%. Pro-Mag had "issues" with the first few versions of the mag's. I ordered 12 about 2 months ago, they all run awesome.
Barrel is 4 inches long with a TROS M-11 thread adapter for my suppressor.
I picked up the barrel of the EE. Tros also sells 5 inch 9mm barrels. I believe there is another website that sells short 9mm barrels, I'll look into it.
ETA - I belive it was www.9mmar15.com but it seems to be down right now.

Here's mine. I bought the parts and built it myself. Here's my pistol build, after final touches and mods.
