Does look nice, How is getting a cheek weld with it?
I like to shoot nose to charging handle and it's perfect for that. With most PDW stocks you're pretty much just putting your cheek on the buffer tube, with this one there is actually a cheek piece there to use.
I have an SBPDW on the way I got for a good price, which appears to be very similar to the Maxim Defense CCS. The cool Maxim is the CQB that has a shorter than normal buffer tube, and uses a proprietary buffer and bolt carrier. Very compact. $$$

I got everything put together and so far it seems like everything will be fine. Probably end up with the longest or middle setting at the best for the PDW. Hoping to break it in this weekend.

I have one on a super short piston gun with a PWS upper.
It might not be the shortest of all the PDW setups, but I didn't want to bother with proprietary buffers and springs. A Geissele Super 42 worked just fine.

That's exactly why I went with it. Put a Strike flatwire spring in with SPikes heavy buffer. I run Super 42 in all my other ARs
