I ordered a couple yesterday and they were shipped out today, the lady on the phone was nice and helpfull. |
I saw their add in SGN...but had never heard of them so I stayed away. Please post results when they arrive. Thanks FB |
Anyone bought these things? Seems too good to be true. They're supposedly NIW! Maybe they get you with some "handling" charges?
They are LEO marked and shipping was only $6 and I already have a tracking #, they seem pretty legit. I will post results when I get them
I recieved 10 today.Possible repaints. I do not like them. Perhaps Coopers.I have not tried them yet.
First off arent they NIW and you would be able to tell if they were Coopers if you read the floorplate. ETA do you really know anything about USGI mags?? |
I believe they are cheapo mags with Center and okay floor plates.
did they come New in Wrapper? |
"cheaper than dirt" sells boxes of 500 or 1000 usgi plastic bags for $9.95. Its easy to hermetically seal them. Like I say, they might work ok,I do not know yet.
well if you read there add it says "New in box with original wrapper!" that sounds suspiciously like they have been removed b4 but the wrapper IS THERE....who knows tho...we'll have to wait and see
Im just wondering, did the bags have the NSN and contract number on them? |
What other thread? Please direct us. |

Just placed my order by phone, they said the order will ship out today. I'll report in when they arrive.
Out of OKAY
They only have Center(oops sp ) LEO NIW Mags now. What the hell, I ordered 5. |
I ordered 20 of the Okays from Mark. They arrived in 3 days. They came in white boxes, but the date code on the box and the one on the mag didn't match. They are LEO marked, and appear to be USGI quality. Okay floorplates and marked Okay on the body of the mag. There were a few marks on the mags but nothing I would have a real problem with. Tried 5 of them out, and they function great. Green follower installed. They fall free from my rifle.
They may not be exactly new, but for $11, you can't beat it. |
What was the writing on the wrapper? |
They were not in a wrapper. Just the white box. The mag has Okay floorplates, and Okay stamped on the body with New Britian, CT USA underneath the logo. All 20 were date coded 4-03, and they have the number 33710 above the date.
Markings on the box UPC code. 1005-00-921-5004 P/N 8448670 1 ea DAAE20-03-C-009 COM-05/03 (I am guessing this should be the date on the mag? Maybe packaged late in the month?) Don't know if anyone can figure anything out from this, but there it is. There is some finish wear on them. Looks like from storage. There were a couple that had been inserted in a rifle. Again, for now I am happy with them. But I did charge them on the CC. Let me know if I should feel bad about this, or look to return them. Thanks... |
I dont know, I am supposed to recieve these mags tommorow from my tracking #. I was told these were New in Wrapper and if they arent I will be a little pissed. I will report back tommorow |
they didnt ACTUALLY say NEW IN WRAP...just new, with wrapper....that can be translated as they are new, but have been removed from the wrapper, but never fired
On the other thread, this came up about the scuffing on the mags, someone stated that the mags should have some scuffs from being test inserted at the factory.....
Emailed them yesterday.....mags shipped yesterday
Gotta order some more magpulls now! |
I just called them to see when they will be getting more in and the lady said that they are not getting anymore in that the one's that they had were a one time only thing.
So now who has the best prices on mags and has them in stock? |
Thats the marks on mine, too. They look better in person and a much lighter gray than the pictures, though. (or at least mine do) I was happy the deal and I wish I could have afforded more.
I got 25 and a friend got 15 of the OKAY Industries mags.
They have been inserted for quality purposes (I guess). They appear to have never been loaded with ammo. They are marked as described previously. I considered splitting a case of 100 with my friend but we just got 40 between us. If you don't get to his table the Market Hall Gun show in Dallas Saturday, I suspect these will be gone. OKAY also makes the 30 round mags for Colt as I just bought 2 LEO Colt mags and they have the same manufacturers code on them as OKAY (33710). He said he has been holding 2200 mags for a while just waiting for the ban to be lifted. I was out to his shop on Thursday and he was down to about 900. No catches or screwy deals here. Buy now or miss out. Arma-Lite |
Looks exactly like what I got. Glad I picked up 20. Couldn't wait on the Tapco deal....
I'm real happy I'm waiting for TAPCO MAGS they look much better !!! only a two week wait !!!! |
its ok just wait a little while and those D&H teflon mags will be a dime a dozen and will sell for $10 instead of $12 |
They say 'silicon springs.'
Does that mean they have chrome-silicon springs? Does the USGI spec call for chrome-silicon springs? |
Ok who gives a shit you get what you pay for !!!!Also when they go "down" I will be there to buy some more !!!! Two bucks less oh boy............... |
hey that $2 adds up, especially when you want to get as many mags as you can |
Bravo Company has the same deal as Tapco, D&H mags built on Labelle tooling for $12ea in lots of 10. But if you make a purchase totaling $350 or more they will ship your order for free. I got 50 mags on order with them and can't wait! headbang.gif |

Not anymore. They no longer are accepting orders. The search continues... |

Some company really missed the "ban wagon" he he with everyone wanting mags. Just think, a couple million in stock, buy for $5 a piece or cheaper, and sell to us for $11-12.
I know there was always the danger of something happening with the ban at the last minute, but it looks like no one was really ready to supply the masses. 2300 from Amsurplus, couple thousand from Tapco and Bravo, is just a drop in the bucket to what they could sell. And they are alll gone. No one wants to commit to any more. I hope someone tools up and starts putting them out at a faster rate, especially before the next election. |
I recieved my 10 today, in plastic, not in boxes. They show the same type of wear Repub18's pics show. Fit and eject slick as snot. All are Center Industries, 06/03 dated. Packages read: 0203C in a black box in the top left corner [barcode] NSN: 1005-55-921-5004 CAGE/PRIME: 6P199 P/N: 8448670 Magazine Assembly 30 Rd. 5.56MM 1 each Contract Number DAAE20-97-F-0027 C JjUNE 2003 Center Industries Corporation Wichita, Kansas 67217 [uparrow] ELKAY PLASTICS VP 391 MIL-B-117B TYPE 1 CLASS B STYLE 2 |

Got my mags from TAPCO and they are the SHIT,brings a tear to my eyes!!! |
I got my mags from Amerisurp and am very pleased. they look the same as the other new in bag Center Industries that I got from another vendor today as well. The Amersurp are new in box and the other vendor's were new in bag. In fact, my still sealed in bag Center Industries look as if they were handled a little more than the boxed ones....from the factory.
I think $11 for these brand new, green-follower, in the box 30-rounders cannot be beat...unless you sell them for $10 thanks, Ron |
yeah mine in bag and scratched more than the one in the pic...
Centers dated 5/03 Black baseplates. I am okay considering what they cost. they'll make good training mags... |
I got 5 centers in yesterday .
I was kind of hopeing for some Ok's but that is OK . Now the real question . Should I leave one of these in the wrap for 10 years from now or what? |
I have a feeling that, just like NIW "pre-bans" are still available today, NIW "LEO-only" will be available for many years to come. |
One of them seems to be out of spec .
They all look kind of shitty , but they all work . The one does stick a little going in and stays in the rifle when empty . So far it hasn't fucked up , but I think it will be a range mag only . |
I got 10, all Center Ind in the plastic. They look great but the ONE that I opened is REAL tight in my Mega lower, but drops free in the Colt. Anyone else notice any probs with mega or other inexpensive/less known brands?
I tried all 20 (okays) in my AR's. 1 RRA's, 3 Bushy's, and an Eagle lower. They all locked and dropped out of the well perfectly.
