The only thing I can't figure out, is how to get the Armadillo mounted on the 7.0. Hmm. Any suggestions?

(Thanks Grant!)

Nice pic.  USMC03 would be proud of you!

I really think Mark needs to modify the FSD Dillo, by adding a LT throwlever!  Then you could just carry it on your LT rail.

usmc who? What is there a similarity in photoshopping style? Yea we're sorta neighbors and all, but really....

The armadillo is really cool. I think it should be the logo on the LaRue hat. Maybe somebody with influence can pass that on to Mr. LaRue.  .

Actually with a little modification, I'll bet he could make the armadillo the tool for opening the spare battery compartment.  And then all it would need is a lanyard hole to hang it on your web gear.  (Although the throw lever thing would be a hoot! Yes I would hang it on my rails.) Whatdya think?

As good as any reason to BTT this thread.

I did not think the dot would be a true co-witness with the irons, but discovered much to my delight that they do.

One thing I don't think I've read about here is how well the mount grabs the optic.
I barely had the top screws snugged, and I couldn't turn the optic.
Once tightened, there is no way in hell the optic will ever move in the mount.
When I loosened, not removed, loosened just one screw on the ARMS 22M68 mount I replaced, the optic turned.

Pat Rogers told me not to replace my 22M68 if it wasn't broke, but this is one time Pat was wrong.

Just curious...but why would you use this mount on an MRP?

C_C,

What is the metal band looking thing around the front top of your tri power?
Sorry if it's been asked before.

That's not mine.  That belongs to NickDrak.  I just quoted it from the previous page.

A couple of questions come to mind.

I presume the cant. mount will work with the Comp M3, but wanted to confirm.

Also, has anyone tried the 3X Magnifier with a BUIS?  I'm thinking of running a Comp M3 in the cant. mount with a Magnifier in a QD mount, but I don't want to lose the ability to have a BUIS.  So, what folding BUIS would work?

Excellent.  I've got one carbine set up with an ARMS currently, so even if the BUIS for my other (I'm currently planning on a Troy), I've got one to put the magnifier on.
