I will be ordering one soon.  Those look perfect, thanks for the review.

Caution! You better practice with that buckle a few times, strong hand, weak hand, and in a hurry. Otherwise, this’ll turn into a poop thread.

I really like Nextbelt.

Nice!  First time I saw racheting dress belts, thought that would be a nice feature in a carry belt, as compared to velcro.  Will have to keep them in mind next time I need a new carry belt.

I bought one a few weeks ago at my LGS. I’m now a fan after a getting used to the latch release! Dude above ain’t kidding about a poop thread if you don’t figure it out beforehand!

I met one of the owners last week at the NRA show. Great guy. They had a nice selection of buckles and belts to handle and buy. He even helped me trim mine a bit more (I left it a bit long until I got used to it). I use mine to carry a full size pistol (Beretta M9A3) both in and on waist depending on my needs. It handles that effortlessly.

Overall I recommend them.

I've got the Blade-tech version (Ultimate Carry Belt) and have worn it every day since I got it. Sometimes I wish a wider 1 3/4 inch was available, but all of my other belts are lonely now.

I got mine today.  Well made and the ratchet system is great .

Regular price would still be a deal, the code made it a steal.

Thank you Mr A for the heads up, I’ll never buy another style belt again.

These are great belts and my go to for the past year.  They are by far the best ratcheting belt for carrying a gun on the market.

I have two of the Blade-Tech versions and they have been the best belts I have ever used for EDC and everyday wear. They just work.

I do like my nexbelt, but it seems to be starting to fall apart.  Maybe not, I took a lighter to all these threads after I took the picture.  Hopefully that’ll stop the fraying, I really like mine.

That trim on the end  looks like hell too.  Some cheap synthetic that hasn’t held up well at all.

Still wearing mine, but the belt is shedding threads like a longhair dog in August.   The buckle is great, probably order a new belt and see if the quality has improved.

I don't wear mine every day but I took a lighter and singed all along it to keep it from unraveling.

I just received a Nexbelt gunbelt yesterday, it’s my favorite gun belt ever.  I have tried at least 6 other more expensive gun belts over the past 20 years, but this one is by far the best.  Just my $.02.  This is the one I bought:

I wear the leather version of their EDC belt 5 days a week. I have been wearing it for about a year with no issues.
I have one of the cloth belts but don't wer it much. The buckle just seems heavy but I know a few others who wear it daily and love it.

Definitely don't buy unless you get a coupon or there is a sale. There is no reason to pay full retail.

$115 for an Ares Gear Belt with an Aegis buckle?!?!?!?
Maybe for a handmade tooled leather belt, not for a synthetic belt with a plain stainless steel buckle.

I may of had a lemon, but my next belt took a dump in twenty minutes. The ratchet gave lose and bumped “open” a half dozen notches. I continued to use it carefully and it took about a month for the plastic portion to completely split in two pieces, length ways and I dumped it. My Aegis belt has been on for years but I hate how heavy and loud the buckle.

I bought one a month ago, a week later I bought another. I am beyond happy with them. I had worn and been happy with a 5.11 for years but can't imagine going back.

I've had 2 of them that I used while on duty. The first lasted about a year carrying at least 5-10 pounds of gear. It's a nylon version and taking gear on and off multiple times a day just wears on nylon. The ratcheting buckle still works great, but the material wore out. The second one, the leather version, I'm still using after 3 years and it's starting to show some wear. I switched to Crossbreed gun belts for my off duty carry. I can see where the Nextbelts would be great for EDC, I just prefer the thicker leather of the Crossbreed for my off duty carry. I would definitely recommend the Nextbelt for anyone looking.

I have both KORE and NEX belts. Both have held up to EDC use, I prefer the smaller buckle on the NEX belt I have, especially for AIWB carry.

Can confirm, these are excellent. Ive been wearing one for almost a year daily at work, have worn it to two different handgun classes and its been great. Cant speak to the longevity of them, but I liked them enough i bought two more

I have 3 of the Kore belts, 2 of the Tactical Nylon Gun Belts and 1 of the leather gun belts.  Happy with them so far.  The leather one hasn't gotten much wear since right after I bought it we went casual at work.

My friend gifted me a nexbelt for my birthday and it only lasted a month before the kydex inside the belt snapped in three places. Not durable at all, total trash IMHO. I went back to my daltech force steel core belt.

I started with NextBelt but moved to KORE for EDC belts, even got one in 1-3/4" width for my competition gun/gear belt.  KORE is much stiffer.

One big disadvantage is that the Kore has a bulkier buckle!

They also have a couple models that are much smaller, kind of intended for AIWB. I believe it’s at least as small or slightly smaller than the Nextbelt AIWB buckle.
