Whoops, I just posted my pics in the other thread. Oh well, I'll post here, too.
This is a bone stock Ruger K10/22T that I bought as a college graduation present for a friend of mine. I figured it'd be a good starter rifle for her. It's got a cheap Bushnell .22 rimfire 4x fixed scope on it. The sling was done custom by a leather shop near my house, but the quality turned out to be sub par. :( It's alright, though - she's happy with it. This was shooting about 0.5" groups at 50 yards out of the box. After running 1200 rounds through it, I'm in love. The barrel is beautiful. http://home.comcast.net/~nickbooras/rifle.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~nickbooras/rifle2.jpg |

What about the MG-42 looking one? Is it full-size? |

That is awsome, did you do the stock your self (using AK parts) or is it an actual kit? |
||
|
Looks to me like the krinker plinker kit. www.krinkerplinker.com |

I know who owned this one. It was built on an AMT receiver with a Norrell Trigger Pack and Bolt.

Anyone have one of these 10/22 kits? |

Yes...3 of them. Built my own with various improvements like needle bearings in the crank handle, No sharp corners, polished cams, hogue grip. I went to Russia Ohio where they make them at. Guy has several CNC's running cranking them out. He also makes motorcycle parts, Gocarts and minibikes. Nice shop and good people to deal with. |
